There's something really annoying me about Tennant always agreeing to be in another bit of horse flogging pish.

Funny I could see it some times, but not others? It was about how the next Doctor is not being shown at the premier, which leads me to think that the rumours about Ten Inch coming back as the next Doctor for a year before Ncuti are true as why bother hiding it when we know who the next Doctor is if it's Ncuti? I can't help but feel this gives a pretty big indicator of that too

It might be the ad blocker, but it's never done it before.
My interest is already waning.

The Centenary and 60th anniversary storylines apparently synch up well according to Chibnall

Seems like Yaz is there right to the end, which honestly makes me wonder if she'll be with whoever is The Doctor for the 'gap' in between this special and the 60th and has an unknown fate similar to Ace for so many years between Survival and the TV Movie That, or the Yaz featured in the final scene is a ghost like Amy was in Time of the Doctor, remember she is shrunk by The Master. Chinballs can't even keep his own story straight. They had no idea RTD was taking over till the penultimate day, remember? He's so full of shit.

Ace still dresses like a teenager... I know it honestly makes Ace look like Al Bundy still wearing his Polk High football shirt.

Can everyone start to see why I argue that RTD actually did Classic Who justice?
1. He sparingly did the explicit throwbacks/cameos
2. When they were done, the moments had grown up with us. Case in point, Sarah Jane Smith in School Reunion.

Even if Peri came back wearing her famous wet bikini you'd all still moan lol
It is silly I suppose, but just seeing Ace again in her 80s gear is so surreal and honestly quite exciting. We might never see her again in the show so why not?

It just feels off. I had the same complaints for Han Solo in The Force Awakens.
I mean, his clothes even looked unwashed.
Once again, Sarah Jane worked perfectly as a woman being her age. She felt more timely than ever.

Can everyone start to see why I argue that RTD actually did Classic Who justice? 1. He sparingly did the explicit throwbacks/cameos 2. When they were done, the moments had grown up with us. Case in point, Sarah Jane Smith in School Reunion. RTDs two biggest problems in regards to doing classic who justice were. 1/ He made the Doctor into too much of a conventional hero, IE is young and trendy, played by more conventional leading men than oddball character actors, has a tragic backstory where he's done bad things in the past like Xena and Angel, and even has his own Gabrielle/Buffy style young blonde that brings out the best in him, who comes from a more relatable background. 2/ He focused more on the soap opera, everyday aspects. He also abandoned a lot of other story arcs, or wrote them the way you would in a remake, like the Cybermen now come from an alternate universe, the Master was driven mad by drums in his head and the Doctor was always his friend trying to help him etc. Still at the very least he never went back and wrote over the classic era the way Moff and CHibnall did (apart from the drums.) He also I will say never just brought back a classic character for the hell of it. When they DID come back, there was a reason and they were at least given a focus and important role in the story. Moffat meanwhile brought the villains back lots of times when they weren't the main focus of a story which undermined them, like the Sontarans in Matt's last episode Whilst Chibbers has been guilty of bringing back new and from the looks of things, classic characters back for the novetly. Captain Jack for instance in season 12 came back for 2 mins to tell them about the plot macguffin, which served no impact on the plot at all. The Cyberman could have just come back anyway, and from the looks things I doubt Ace or Tegan will fare any better in than pointless cameos. It's hard to juggle that much in one story if you're a skilled writer. Trying to watch Chibbers do it, is like watching a blind one armed clown try to juggle chainsaws.

You should be thrilled, it's working perfectly.
