It's still stormy over my way. Does anyone else get fed up with the way every film or tv series has a "There's a storm coming!" speech just before the big finale? Are we supposed to believe everyone watches the local weather reports? |

I can only think of it a few times, but the most egregious was - typically - in New Poo in Fear Her. At least in the other examples I can think of - X Files and Person of Interest - the characters did have reason to suspect something big and unpleasent was on its way. New Poo just randomly has Tentwat spout it for no reason other than the finale starts next week.
