Been sleeping appallingly the last few nights, courtesy of how hot it's suddenly become. I've since gone on a posting streak on here this morning, the kind of which I haven't done for ages. You're not drinking enough. Though it is more like unconsciousness than actual sleeping when you do.

Been looking up a lot about Dinosaurs the last week. Also I'm doing my own version of King Kong. Been working on it a while, but really making some leeway. It's kind of like Blake's 7 meets King Kong in that it's about a group of criminals and bastards who get shipwrecked on Skull Island. It has lots of Dinosaurs too. My version of Kong is going to have all of his enemies in fact. I'm going to have the large, upright meat eater from the 33 original, which in my version will be a new species that has evolved to be like this ironically outdated version of a Tyrannosaur. I'm also going to have the V-Rex from Peter Jackson's version (these guys are the best of Kong's many enemies IMO.) I'm also going to have Gorosaurus from King Kong Escapes. Gorosaurus is a mutated Tyrannosaur/Allosaur hybrid. I'm going to leave out the mutant part, but I think the idea of a Tyrannosaur/Allosaur hybrid is quite cool. And I'm going to have the Skull Crawlers from the 2017 version too. All of these guys will appear at different points and have different roles.

Went for a nice walk just a minute ago. Barely anyone about and weather (cloudy and windy) was my cup of tea. I listen to music and tend to reflect while I walk. It's really good for my mental health.

Going for walks is good. I walk a lot. Only problem is you can't really do it after midday here (maybe in winter) as it's too fecking hot.

Can't believe it has been 10 years since Amy Winehouse died today. Time flies so fokking fast. It's nice to see all the love and tributes to her though. I must admit though a lot of these articles about her have made me realise that people, (myself included) do tend to make her into too much of a victim. Yes the treatment she got from the media was really shitty. (And it should always be remembered when we have canutes like Frankie Boyle and that shit stain Jimmy Carr trying to call other people sexist that they took part in it.) Still she wasn't just a victim. She was an incredibly successful, and pioneering musician who by their own admission paved the way for the likes of Paloma Faith, Adele, Caro Emerald, Florence Welch, Lady Gaga, Lana Del Ray, an entire generation of wonderfully talented and amazing female singer/songwriters and she was also incredibly versatile too in terms of the genres and types of songs she could sing and really she'd want to be remembered for that more than anything else so I hope that gets emphasised in the tributes to her today. Finally I always like to bring up that arsehole Alan (who I hated for other reasons, like you know framing me for reporting Mike and banning me from Nuhive and sharing things behind my back.) Saying everyone forgot about her two days after she died. Hmmmm chartmasters.org/2019/07/amy-winehouse-albums-and-songs-sales/He's about as good a judge for what will last as he was a moderator.

PS that is an awful statue I hate to say LOL. It's face is all wrong. Doesn't do her justice. Still it makes my point nonetheless.

It's pouring down with rain (I love it) and I'm going to have Chicken Nuggets and Chips from my local chip shop later. Will also have a nice bit of bread, a cup of tea and a pot of curry sauce. Haven't decided what Who to watch tonight, though. I usually like watching Fenric when it's tipping down but I watched that one only last week.

Bought myself a DVD player today. It's an LG one which looks pretty sleek. Picture quality is decent and I'm finally able to watch widescreen movies in their proper aspect ratio. As naughty as it sounds, I'm also able to watch Who in 16:9 rather than 4:3. I know, I know, but I like it that way and TVs are no longer square anyway. I couldn't do so on my Xbox.

As you are all aware, I am a pur pur pur Platypus which is against injustice. My latest campaign is to rise awareness of those who have been victims of such injustices and wondered whether anyone here would be interested in signing my petition to free the Woody Allen One? FREE THE WOODY ALLEN ONE!A completely innocent man most cruelly and unjustly slandered by those Bonapartist lezbos like poor Roman pur pur pur Polanski was. Save our manboys and abolish sexual age of consent laws!

Did my Maths assessment earlier. Not as bad as I thought it would be. Completed 35 of the 38 questions and I'm hoping that I got them all right. It's only an assessment though and my results will determine what level I'm going to be studying at. I haven't got a Maths qualification so my focus this year is on getting one.

Had my second COVID vaccine yesterday. Been an insomniac all my life, but never experienced a night like this. No other physical symptoms, but physically could not fall asleep no matter how exhausted I am. Haven't seen this listed as a side effect anywhere, this was unprecedentedly bad.

I had my second jab yesterday too. My arm hurts like hell this morning but I don't feel too bad otherwise. Sorry to hear you've gone through that.
