Sadly that’s war for you. I worry that maybe the years or relative peace we’ve enjoyed for most of my life might not have been the first step towards a better future for man kind but rather just an unusually long reprieve from the cycles of war, disease and death humanity suffered from before hand.

Maybe the Romans felt the same way as their empire was eaten away at on all sides.

Or maybe it will all get sorted out one way or another and I’m just being an Uber pessimist.

Still you’d think humanity would be finally beyond this kind of nonsense in this day and age, especially when we’ve got so many other problems under our belt without fighting each other for stupid reasons. Or maybe we’re not as highly evolved as we think we are.

Time will tell, it always dose.

My favourite novel series from japan, Vampire Hunter D, has had its first three novels turned into 6 hour plus radio dramas, plus Audible has the first novel available in unabridged formate with the second on the way. Fingers crossed this goes well and more of the series will be done this way.
