f*ck me there's a blast from the past. I don't get it though? Did his career not end because he was an abusive asshole, rather than a pervert? Well, six of one and half a dozen of the other; an abusive arsehole pervert. If i recall correctly, a major part of the evidence against him was that he had coerced his girlfriend into exhaustively detailing her every encounter with men before him, because she was a "Dirty little whore". Charming. It's never funny when you have to explain 'em, is it..? |

I think it was Dick Lee or something. Might have been Kevin Seaman. Come to think of it, it was probably Reece Suconcock. He's a good director. I'm more of a Phil McCrevice man, myself. There's just such a refreshing lack of pretension to his work... What about the female directors? Jemima Flahpetits is absolutely superb. |

Well yes, Flahpetits is to be commended for offering a female perspective in a male-dominated industry. Her work does, however, perhaps suffer from a lack of sublety. Also, Flahpetits' irksome penchant for casting herself in the lead role exacerbates this problem as her fondness for directly addressing the camera on all fours whilst screaming "FASTER FASTER!! MORE MORE..!!!" treads a fine line between self-conscious performance art and obnoxiously beating the audience over the head with her own aesthetic...
