Humans. Not bad so far. Not the most original idea, but I'm enjoying it.

Maxil raises a point here, I have to say. TV shows used to be comforting. Now it's all doom and gloom and depressaville. Are there any comforting TV shows anymore? I like watching TV in bed in the evenings and temporarily forgetting my own problems as well as the issues of the world. A lot of old shows and movies I watch actually help my mental health. Doesn't really happen with new stuff sadly although there's the odd exception.

Been watching some Friends recently. In no order. It's still hilarious. I just wish they had given Rhonda another episode.

Cobra Kai Season 5 trailer dropped today. Still the best modern show out there and one of the most respectful of its legacy characters compared to Doctor Who and Star Wars. Mike Barnes is suspiciously missing from the trailer, but the tease of an all out karate war is so exciting. Will binge watch it all in one day.

It's crazy how the best Season (Season 4) honours and develops themes, characters and dialogue from a film rated a 5.2 on IMDB. An indicator that there's a lot of positives to take from that film. I did watch III not long ago and my mum walked in, watched briefly and said "I can't watch this. It's really naff" and walked out. She's wrong but it's pretty funny.

Just watched the Better Call Saul finale.
11 seasons and a movie, and not one episode was ever bad. That's the legacy of the Breaking Bad TV universe. Even TV shows I adore cannot compare to that. Objectively speaking, both of them are the best series ever made.

Picked up the complete set of Watching. Haven't seen this show in decades, they didn't even finish it down here, think the last one they showed was from 91 when it carried on till 93. Watched the first 3 episodes last night. Surprisingly still rather good. Not hilarious but amusing and charming and entertaining. Must have been given I watched 3 in a row!

Been watching the first few seasons of My Hero.
Very fun so far, my favourite character is Mrs. Raven.
Oddly the wife says that living with me is like living with George at times.

Echoes on Netflix. Michelle Monaghan plays identical twins who swap lives and identities every year on their birthdays. Then one of them vanishes and the other starts to find she may not have known her twin as well as she thought. This was a really good psychological thriller mini-series with plenty of twists. My only real complaint was some godawful green screen in the last episode. Terror of the Autons bad lol

Watched ep 1 of The Boys last night. Wow, a good current show (so far!)! In a world where superheroes are real, and none more beloved than "The Seven", a young man's world is blown apart when one of them accidentally kills his girlfriend, and no one much gives a crap. His devastation and anger lead him to a mysterious man who begins to open his eyes to the fact that there's nothing heroic about these supes... I've heard of this show, but didn't really know what it was - I thought it was one of those Sons of Anarchy type shows, which isn't really my thing - but this was very funny, surprisingly dark and very entertaining so far.

Sick to death of seeing She Hulk posts in my FB newsfeed and it's usually people whining about men being misogynists and incels for not liking it. Maybe people don't like it because it sucks? From what I've seen and heard (which, by the way, I've not willingly sought out and have instead had it crammed down my throat) it's awful. I don't follow these pages so why do I have to see it? Same with RTD randomly popping up on my feed. I don't follow any NuWho related pages.

Max Headroom, ep 1. Intriguing start to this short-lived but influential late 80s cyberpunk sci-fi show. In a world ruled by TV networks, an intrepid reporter discovers that a new form of advertising developed by his own network could be fatal to some viewers - but may not live to tell the tale. Fascinating to see this again, it still feels very familiar even though it must be over 30 years since I last saw it.

The feminazi brigade go nuts over the slightest perceived (or imaginary) sexism but men are supposed to put up with endless hateful bs from these crazy c*nts without comment. Yeah, go feed your 59 cats you old hags. Being on Facebook is your first mistake though, Maxil.

I'll keep messenger as I do chat to family and also some friends I have here, but I might ignore my news feed for good. It's too negative and half of the stuff that shows up there I have zero interest in.
