Great song from an underrated film. I'm not quite sure why people dislike it. Can everyone and their mother stop hating on Van Damme movies? It's pissing me off a bit now.

Oh I loved that song. George Michael, what a loss.

This is a brilliant score. I'm glad they've finally released it officially. Very 80s.

My favourite PSB song.
I LOVE that Christel Dee (from whatever Who podcast it was) is a crazy fan of them. She had this to say:
The Pet Shop Boys to me are higher beings. My heroes are the Pet Shop Boys, they’re higher beings, and whenever I’ve me them I’ve been incredibly star struck. It’s what they mean to you. I’m sure that if I started working intimately with the Pet Shop Boys, and got to know them as people, it would change that. But I wouldn’t want that to change because I enjoy the Pet Shop Boys being somebody that I look up to.
I reckon I'd get on very well with her. She always appeared to be one of the nicer people associated with the show.

Two bookending tracks from the same album, frequently played in the car during childhood:

One of their best. It was written by the Pet Shop Boys and meant for their "Yes" album, but was given to Girls Aloud instead. The PSB sound and the beautiful vocals are a lovely match.

Eddie and the Cruisers is a brilliant movie. It's really hard to get over here which is a shame. The film flopped massively at the box office back in 1983 but has since become a very well loved musical particularly in the US.
