Takes me back to the summer of 2016 when I listened to this song on repeat. What a great summer that was. Lots of rain, Euro 2016 (we were crap in it, but I loved it anyway), working in a charity shop and just loving life.

I remember this being on the Marked for Death soundtrack. The 90s isn't one of my favourite decades for music, but the early rap/hip hop scene is rad.

I remember walking to college listening to this song and the rest of the "Tough All Over" album. I used to have this, Rocky IV and the Cobra soundtrack on repeat at the time. I particularly recall the walk back from college to the train station, passing the waterfront and the lit up buildings on cold winter evenings and listening to this. That was about eight and a half years ago now. Nice to be reminded of those times.

Considered the worst song of the 1980s, apparently. If this really is the worst song of the 80s I dread to think what the worst of this decade is! Na, this is great. I always did prefer Starship in their Knee Deep/No Protection era.

The second Lost Boys film is utter crap, but the soundtrack is pretty cool especially for a 2008 film. Corey Haim notoriously disliked this film. I wish they'd done a proper sequel in 1989 or 1990 instead of a pair of cheaply made for DVD flicks that only had two cast members from the first film.

Getting in touch with my Scottish roots recently and have fallen in love with Eddi Reader. 

Good god does she have a gorgeous voice. I actually really like a Scottish accent on a woman like her, and Dawn Steele. I never used to think that, as obviously Scottish accents are so common to me, but actually it's really nice. 

Her Burns CD is absolutely phenomenal. Best renditions of Burns I've ever heard (apart from Dawn Steele's which is just so f*cking sexy, it...... does things to me LOL. I'm like Fran in that episode of Black Books when she listens to Peter Serafincowiz LOL. Still that aside these are the best versions of Scotland's bard I've ever heard.)










She is a gem.

I have one of her songs. This one was used on the Batman Forever soundtrack (though it wasn't in the film itself). It's gorgeous, you should give it a listen.
