Absolutely beautiful song. They were made not to include it. Her voice is so sexy god damn. Why can't I be her darling? Who is this Charlie bloke, and what does he have that I don't? I think they didn't use it because the film already had a love song - the much lauded "Kiss From a Rose" by Seal. Funnily enough, both songs have been used in NuWho tribute videos relating to Rose Tyler. I agree. Female scottish voices are very sexy to me.

I remember there was one interview with Amy Winehouse where she mentions two things she wants in a man. One is a Scottish accent, the other that he has to know everything there is to know about John Lennon. God damn it! If only I'd been ten years older and you know charismatic and dashing LOL.

One of my favourites of Gloria & MSM. Never ends up on any of her greatest hits albums strangely.

Excellent and sadly overlooked German band from the 80s.

My favourite group from the Sixties.

One of the best song uses in a TV program. Episode was also included in TV Guide's "100 Greatest TV episodes of All Time." I can't disagree.

My favourite group from the Sixties. Me too. Although I'd probably have say my favourite group from 1960 to 1967, at which point it becomes the Jimi Hendrix Experience, and then Led Zeppelin in 1969.

This is still my favourite song. The orchestra version is on another level.

This is another highlight from the Orchestra album. I don't think Midge Ure & Ultravox ever got the credit they deserved. I kind of like this sombre, bittersweet 80s music more than the happy pop stuff.

The ZZ Top Hale and Pace parody was so accurate. "All you seem to get in our videos is lots of hot women wearing hardly any clothes"

Love me some Voltaire. His songs are so insane, creative and offbeat.
It would be cool to sing this to a group of pirates while dancing with a beautiful, tough, rough, no nonsense Pirate babe that looked like Gina Carano, and who normally beat the shit out of any man that looked funny at her, but who was so won over by your boyish charm she went along with it, though she still slapped you around a few times, before she lifted you over her shoulder and took you upstairs to have her way with you.
(Granted that wouldn't work for me as I'm a big fat bastard. Not sure even Gina at her MMA peak and on steroids could lift me without rupturing her spleen LOL.)
