Been listening to a lot of Axel Bundy recently. A lot of people felt he was one of those trippy experimental acts from the 60s the way he'd always play that sandwich, but underneath that he did have some talent. 

I prefer his earlier stuff with Shoes and Rocks though. When he ditched them and came back with his his wife Jasmine and his two children Bombshell and Troll it just wasn't as good. I mean don't get me wrong here Jasmine was seriously f*cking hot, and I do respect him for putting his life back together after he had that breakdown and thought moon men were stealing his socks, but still his family seemed to want to hog the limelight (though I was too bothered about seeing Jasmine instead of him LOL.) 




It annoys me the way there are so many great bands and singers from decades ago that nobody knows these days like The Rutles, Bad News, Brian Pern and his band Thotch, and Kirk Van Houten, whose single Borrow A Feeling really got me through some hard times. Such a shame about what happened to him in that racing car. RIP

I rediscovered this cover by Lily Allen for Christmas and I absolutely LOVE it. 

Her voice is just so beautiful. I love that she keeps her cockney accent when singing. 




I think it's a bit of a shame that Lily gets slept on. Her music is really funny, creative, original and very bitchy haha, but quite thoughtful in places too. I was a big, big, big fan of hers back in the day in the 00s. Her and Amy were the two that began my love of that generation of female singers, though even I gradually dropped Lily compared to some of the others I hate to say, but it's always nice to rediscover your old favourites. 

A lot of people I think just HATED Lily's personality too much LOL. I always found her personally quite likable, as she seemed quite funny, opinionated, creative, and even though like everyone she could be an asshole, she was also very reflective and quite self deprecating about her faults too. 

Still I think a lot of people couldn't get by the fact that she came from a posh background, but pretended to be working class at the start of her career and then you factor in that she got caught up in the woke mob in the mid to late 2010s, a lot of people took her to just be spoilt, mockney London brat.

BTW when it came to the woke stuff she was nowhere near the worst. Really all she had was a bit of Trump derangement syndrome. (Again not that I have any great love for Trump, it's just that well he was hardly the worst President. Whilst his domestic policies were bollocks like the rest, he was the only one not to start a war in 50 years. Ironically that makes him arguably one of the best, because that's how low the bar is set for the US Presidents who are all mostly scum. Still the media pushed him as the worst, ironically because they viewed him as an outsider. It's not like billionaire Trump was a man of the people, or a radical socialist LOL. He was a right wing idiot with no principles who they were still largely able to mold hence his stabbing Assange in the back, but because he was merely a different part of the elite, even that was enough to shake them. People like Lily who got caught up in hating Trump and couldn't see the bigger picture I think were just jumping on a media bandwagon.)

Still other than that minor annoyance and her ill advised "I apologise on behalf of Britain" video, Lily was nowhere near the worst virtue signalling celeb. My god compared to Mark Hamill, Ben Stiller, Gal Gadot or Sarah Silverman she doesn't even register. Mark and Ben have supported literal Nazis in Ukraine they are so politically clueless, whilst those two ladies have cheered on a genocide in Palestine (with Sarah Silverman also proving that she has zero f*cking clue on what counts as a war crime by saying Israel have no right to supply Palestine with water when they are an occupying force. That's the f*cking definition of a war crime you moron!)

I'd take 100 of Lily's I apologise videos over that and indeed for all people go on about her anti men stuff, the great irony is that through her support of Corbyn, if Lily had got her way, then the lives of working class, normal men would have improved tenfold under Corbyn. For all the champagne socialist bullshit accusations that are hurled her way, the actual politics Lily did her best to promote via Corbyn would have ensured that working men don't have to slave away doing 12 hour shifts in Dickensian call centres for barely minimum wages, and consider a cheese sandwich a luxury. 

Also I finally I will say the wankers who hated Lily Allen like that Douglas Murray shitstain were far, far, far, far more hateful than she ever could be if she tried. 

I remember Douglas Murray going on about how Lily Allen only represents her own idiocy. Well Douglas at least her idiocy had the brains not to support the Iraq War, the outright mugging of a more vulnerable country for its oil, justified by outright lies that even Rumsfeld himself admitted. At least she didn't support getting rid of Gaddaffi in Libya that led to a rise in ISIS, a country collapsing into anarchy and a slave trade, and she never supported a genocide and made the outrageous claim that the Israeli's care more about the Palestinians than anyone else. 

Mind you Douglas might not be stupid enough to have been duped into all of this. He might just be evil, racist and twisted enough to do so.
