I’ve see a few videos and posts claiming that on top of everything else, the story is actually racist due to the fact that you have a mix of different period costumes for the chines, people were modern shoes, its depiction of Zheng Yi Sao and some other stuff.
You really can’t please people can you. A few short comings and your a nazi.

You can call me many things, a crushing bore, tedious, tribal and hypocritical, but a woman hater, based specifically on whether I can enjoy a female led thing? They'll just jump to the laziest and most cliched criticism and as Ian says it is why you don't pander to the woke brigade, because sooner or later they are going to turn on you. Joss Whedon is the best example of that. Not that he didn't deserve it for being a bully, but even before then they couldn't wait to tear him down. |

Holy s**t. And THAT'S the figure you compare to Battlefield, not even the overnight one (Battlefield didn't get to record how many millions recorded it and watched it later in the evening).

Saw the trailer looked awful didn't bother watching the special Consider yourself lucky. I stupidly subjected myself to it, and got bombarded with 50 minutes of unintelligible rubbish. Ghost Light gets criticised by some for being inaccessible (I personally love it), but for what is supposed to be a simple story, I had no clue what the f*ck was going on after the five minute mark courtesy of how poor the editing was. Characters teleport across miles and miles in the space of five seconds (often without telling the audience), and it's an unmitigated headache to endure. |

4.7 on IMDB meaning it's the second worst story after Orphan 55 on the site. I can't wait to see how many Jodie episodes are in the bottom ten when DWM come round to doing their next stories poll. |
