Not been a very good day today, had to ring an ambulance for my mum. She's been getting wobbly the last week and today she couldn't even stand up. She's got some sort of infection (as well as cancer, of course) so they're keeping her in for a few days. It's all fun round here. Sorry to here that mate. Wish you and your mum the best. |

Sorry to sober the mood further, but my cat (who suffered a stroke in my room last month) got put down yesterday. We’ve had her since 2008 and my sister was incredibly close to her.
My Grandad passed away just over three years ago now too. February seems to be the month for that. It’s bloody horrible.
Hope you’re alright, Ian, and that everyone else here is holding up well.

The funeral was this morning. Well done but not a lot of fun. Am glad it's over.
Now I have to figure out what to do next stuck up in the arse end of nowhere all on my lonesome.

Funerals in some ways are the worst part of it. It's when that horrible reality hits home. Still don't worry about it, you have plenty of opportunities and you have your friends here to help you get through it.

Feeling bloody depressed again. It's not just mild either, it's a full blown "I'm about to collapse and cry" depression. Where this has come from I don't quite know. Perhaps the lack of sugar or maybe I've pushed myself too hard lately in order to improve my life.

My birthday is next Friday. I think I share a Birthday with Ian actually. I can't believe I'm going to be 24! I was essentially the baby of the forum back in 2016, but now there are a couple here even younger than me now.
