Moved house yesterday. Chaos. Knackered.
And the NBN connection is on yet the phone won't work. And try and get in touch with Telstra via the net...

Moved house yesterday. Chaos. Knackered. I can relate. I'll likely be moving house this time next week. We've been organising for the move over the last week, and our wi-fi/data completely blanked out for two whole days out of nowhere, so it's been an absolute bloody nightmare lately. |

Going to a tour of my local castle tomorrow which I'm excited about. I've been before, but have never attended an depth tour of it. After that I will probably pop into HMV and pick up "Frontios" as I don't own that one and I'm interested in seeing it again. I bet they'll have every story but that one lol

I found a babe who looked like a young Lalla Ward. So, so yummy. Sadly she put "no mummy's boy types" in her profile/ I suppose I qualify because I'm my mother's carer (as she's ill). Ah well, maybe I'll find a girl who looks like Bonnie Langford lol She actually matched me tonight! Well fingers crossed for you mate. |

Visited my dying Nan for the last time this evening. I told her I loved her and that we had wonderful memories together. She doesn't have long left now. Heartbreaking but sadly that's life.

I'm really sorry to hear that Maxil.
Years from now, I hope you'll be able to take comfort in the fact that you were able to tell her how much she means to you before the end. When I last saw my grandmother on Boxing Day 2018, her dementia had progressed to a point where I don't think she even knew who I was. She passed away not long after that.

When I last saw my grandmother on Boxing Day 2018, her dementia had progressed to a point where I don't think she even knew who I was. She passed away not long after that. Yeah, that's horrible. I'm so sorry for you. I'm grateful she knew who I was at least. She wanted to die at home, but eventually she was taken back to hospital where she died of a stroke midnight last night. It still hasn't sunk in properly yet. I'm glad I went to visit her when I did though. I always used to ring her every week or so, so it's going to be really strange for me. |
