Have to say a bit pissed at Adele for the title of her new song.
It's called Love is a Game.
Love is a LOSING Game is one of, if not Amy Winehouse's greatest song. (In fact I'd say it's the greatest song of the last 30 years.) I know that Adele has always been lovely about Amy. She stood up for her when others were being shits to her in 2009 like that canute Eminem, she also paid tribute to her when she died, and has helped keep Amy's memory alive in the decade since, by constantly talking about her influence on her and other singers too. Still this to me feels like it's sailing a little close to the title of that song. Its one fokking word away from the same title!
I'm always saying that no one and nothing is original, and to be fair the song is totally original. (And a good song while we're at it.) Still I think this one is a little bit too close.

I have the LP of this in my collection. Great soundtrack for a fun movie. Will have to watch it again over Christmas.

First heard this song in a shop in Norwich on my 15th Birthday. I'm sure Burrunjor will like this one.

LMAO at Alan Stivell being the biggest troll on earth.
Alan Stivell is a French singer/songwriter who my parents introduced me to. This has always been one of my favourite songs of his and it is very popular. It is sung in Breton, an obscure language that virtually nobody knows. It is sung as a passionate, firey, proud song and for decades everyone sang along with it proudly. However I recently found out what the lyrics actually were.
"I went for forgiveness to Spezet
I found a young girl there
We slept together in a large meadow
I got Syphillis
I was sent to the hospital
I was placed on a big table
And my big tail was cut off
And thrown through the window
A big wolf dog passed
And ate my large tail."
That's what millions of Stivell's fans have been singing at concerts for decades without knowing because nobody knows Breton LOL.
Two things to learn from this.
1/ Stivell you are a naughty boy. 2/ You don't always need good lyrics to make a song great.
