The 2002 Spider-Man movie rocks. This song, Kirsten Dunst (had a massive crush on her as a kid), the Goblin, Elfman's score and of course Tobey's Spider-Man himself. It has this hip swagger to it that still really appeals to me. Must rewatch the trilogy again at some point.

Love the new remaster. I need to get this latest compilation at some point. I'm basically addicted to their music.

RIP Tony Bennett. I wasn't the biggest fan of his, but he helped out two of my faves Amy Winehouse and Lady Gaga.
He gave Amy a chance to go out on one last great song, and with Gaga he helped revitalise her career. After Adele more or less finished Gaga by making out she was a "real" singer unlike Gaga because she didn't use her looks or sex, Bennett showed everybody that Gaga had a great voice by giving her a chance to do more jazzy, power ballads, which made everybody take her seriously again. Gaga even says it saved her life, as it gave her purpose after she went into a depression (being bigged up and then spat out at a young age.)
This is an amazing collaboration and one I return to often to make myself feel better. Shows you what a class act Tony was that right into his 90s, he was still helping out young artists. That is a man who is devoted to his craft and that alone is an amazing legacy to leave behind.

I've been listening to Boyz II Men. They get my bill all in a lather! In fact, I think I'm about to lay an egg listening to this!

I was never a fan of hers but oh dear god, poor Sinead O'Connor. Losing a child like that is the worst thing anyone can endure. I hope she is at peace and that there is something beyond this life for her and her boy. Such a tragedy.
My respect for Kris Kristofferson went up today incidentally. I saw an old vid where he supported her after she got shit for rightfully calling out nonces in the catholic church. It's tragic and hilarious to think she got shit for talking about what now we all accept to the point where it's a f*cking punchline of lame comedians.
Always liked Kristofferson as he starred in one of my all time fave vampire franchises, Blade. Nice to see he is a great guy offscreen for that.

I really love the music in the television movie. I'm actually planning on watching this again over the weekend. I don't think I've seen it properly for about three or four years.
