I think you read or wrote that wrong, mate. He says he IS expecting Davies to ignore it! Yes that’s the one. Rush typing always has hilarious results.

Here's what Chibnall said.
“It’s one of the few drama series without a written bible, and every era contains a contradiction or left-turn from what has come before. Any future showrunner will ignore it or run with it.”
Do these c*nts still not get what it was that killed the show? This Paul Cornell inspired bullshit of in order to do good DW you have to smash up what came before? This is what led to the show pissing everybody off!
Pigeons learn faster than these clowns. I might do a scientific experiment like the Simpsons however to see if who is more intelligent. Chris Chibnall, or a pigeon. I don't doubt that the pigeon could write a better story.
I doubt RTD will retcon it. I think at best he will just not mention it. I do hope that RTD era 2 isn't a big success. If so it will be in the custody of these c*nts forever. I just want New Who to die. Is that so much to ask for? This f*cking show is like Christopher Lee's Dracula the way it will just not stay dead.

Fans will blindly slobber all over it because it's RTD. Even I'm brave enough to admit that sometimes JNT got things a bit wrong (Trial, not hiring Cartmel at least a year earlier, Peri, etc), but these people seem to gang up on you or call you bitter if you don't obsessively love RTD or celebrate the fact that he's back. So much for all the "change is good" crap that has been shoved down our throats the last few years.

Philip Hinchcliffe.
Chibnall/Cornell or Hinchcliffe? Take your choice. I think the results speak for themselves...

This fokking show is like Christopher Lee's Dracula the way it will just not stay dead. It's already dead. It just hasn't stopped moving yet...

It still boggles my mind that Flux was only the previous series. It feels like absolutely ages ago. It's so inconsistent in terms of quality. Some of the episodes are pretty good for Chibnall, but the third episode and the final two make absolutely no sense whatsoever. I do consider it the best of the three Whittaker series which isn't particularly high praise.

At least 12 was so unbelievably incompetent that it was funny, and Flux was like watching a technicolour car crash.

From Series 12 he's desperately trying to be RTD.

I didn't even hate The Woman That Fell to Earth when I watched it. I think I was just happy it wasn't Moffat anymore.

Flux was total shit, but somehow less annoying than the current shite. Unless Ncuti just feels more annoying because RTD is doubling down on the PC stuff, and because it's current. But it FEELS more annoying.
