This seems like a filler episode, but I wouldn't be too surprised if it played out like the Haunting of Villa Diodati where it starts off as a generic runaround but then ends up leading directly into the finale. Also is that a string quartet version of Billie Eilish's Bad Guy in the background of the Brooding clip?
I hate when Doctor Who sucks up to other shows, like it's doing here with Bridgerton.

So how many episodes are left? Is it 3?
I'm mostly bored of it all now, although I must admit to a certain curiosity about the finale.

Review for the episode says it's a bit like a 2006 episode and wouldn't be out of place for Tennant and Piper. Also 'don't think too hard' about the ending. Also says there's a 'blink and miss revelation' that'll infuriate Gallifrey Base. www.vg247.com/doctor-who-rogue-review

". It’s so evocative of series two that I think the episode could have worked just as well for Tennant and Piper without too much tweaking. Which, again, is high praise – to be clear, I consider that series to be the unassailable gold standard of Doctor Who, so anything that hits those highs is welcome."
Yes, the gold standard of Doctor Who if you take away New Earth, The Idiot's Latern, Love and Monsters, Fear Her and, well, mostly every other episode.

I won't be watching it tonight, but I'll give it a go in the morning. I'm kind of done with all this silly filler material. I want to see this "devastating" finale that RTD is hyping up so much.

Apparently he said in some magazine column that someone "mistook the episode 8 villain for Poirot", which has some people thinking Sutekh because of Suchet

I dunno what Bridgerton is.
That might be the worst piece of television I've ever seen.
