Isn't this the same scene as End of the World? Ninth Doctor and Rose watching Earth?

Literally just a direct rip from TEOTW. Rusty's just so full of new ideas.

The "no job, no bills, no boss" thing is also a direct quote from Voyage of the Damned

The sooner you get that, the sooner you might be an enlightened, tolerant, decent person like me. Also kill yourself, kill yourself, please don't delay. Join Mussolini and kill yourself white boy today.

Hmmm sorry not sold on Ncuti from these clips which I did finally watch LOL. To be honest he and Millie have some good chemistry I'll admit, but again he just doesn't fit in with the professorial image of the Doctor. He's too breezy and light. I mean leaving aside all the silly political stuff. I'm trying to be as fair as I can be here. Imagine for a second that RTD hadn't done all of this stupid virtue signalling and the creepy photos of him and Ncuti, and the stuff about Jon Pertwee being a slut etc.
To me Ncuti still doesn't fit. He's not a bad screen presence, but he just doesn't seem old enough or alien enough either. He does seem like your fun best friend, when the Doctor should always have a bit of authority. Even if he's silly, Tom for instance still feels like he is in charge. I do realise it's hard not to get past the political shit though and beyond these clips that will undoubtedly drown out any chance he could have had anyway.

I'm unsure if it was Ncuti or Russell who said it, but I remember someone saying, "Doctor Who can't keep telling the same stories." What a load of bollocks. It hasn't moved on in the slighest.

"Doctor Who can't keep telling the same stories." f*ck's sake, you can go anywhere in time and space. Every other show wishes it had that level of variety. Why does Doctor Who of all shows have to constantly f*ck around with its continuity and reinvent the wheel all the time like it's getting stale. The premise is literally incapable of becoming stale.

Lol I hope she has a big fat snog with an alien transvestite. I don't care at this point, I just want it to be as hilarious as possible.

"Gatwa will make this show far more fun than its been for years" It's interesting how the publications and reviewers who praised the Whittaker era are now implying that the show hasn't been all that recently.
