Hmm. Is it possible to be persuaded to be even less likely to watch something that you're not going to watch anyway..?

A serious question.
What f*cker out there wanted a Redux of “The Doctor, The Widow and the Wardrobe”, or “The Return of Doctor Mysterio”?

Matt Smith's first Christmas Special was excellent. The best of all of them, TBH.

Moffat continues to destroy his legacy by being a shameless sellout. In other news, water is wet.
The most recent examples we have of his DW work are the disgusting insult that was Twice Upon a Time and the five straight minutes of cringeworthy virtue signalling that was the Best of Days webcast in 2020. Zero interest, even if Nc*nti weren't a factor. The guy knows how to write, produce and cast genuinely good Doctor Who. He chooses not to. f*ck him.

The Moffat that wrote Blink is long gone. That said, I can't imagine his Christmas special being worse than the last one...

Is that the one about Nardole and Bill talking about Lee Rigby? f*cking hell that was bad. It's tragic when you remember how intelligent things like Curse of Fenric and the first Dalek story where when it came to politics. How they were able to talk about politics and still have the sci fi hold up in its own right, and how they were clever enough to tackle things that would still be relevant in 60 years time! Bill meanwhile actually mentioning Lockdown and comparing the murder of Lee Rigby to the Cybermen invading earth by saying not all Cybermen have handle bars or something like that (because Cybermen are evil duh,) demonstrated perfectly how DW lost all imagination and intelligence, or rather how it no longer believes its viewers are capable of those things. Aside from that it was also such an embarrassing, out of touch middle aged man trying to be down with the kids moment too. Doctor Evil doing his ducka, ducka, ducka, ducka was more genuinely hip and with it than that video.

As for your last comment, Moffat was by far the worst when it came to the whole "down with the kids" aspect; the browser history jokes, the sonic shades, the hoodies, guitar, etc. Awful I have absolutely no interest in this show anymore. I will only ever be invested again when it is passed into fresher hands to be revitalised once more.

I have absolutely no interest in this show anymore. I will only ever be invested again when it is passed into fresher hands to be revitalised once more. He certainly was. I was talking this over with Omie the other day and we agreed that his feminism was this too, as he often thought that by having Clara smack the Doctor, and insult all the men around, he was winning round female viewers, particularly young women. Completely unaware of the fact most women won't want as most are just...... normal people not caught up int this tedious culture war bullshit. Anyway here it is. I don't like Clockwork anymore for reminding me this exists LOL. In all honesty not watching it anymore is the best option. I'm not going to bother for the exact same reason. Even hate watching I don't find to be productive these days. A guy like RTD thrives on attention so it's best not to give him it.
