Russel confirms on the i-player commentary the scenes with the Snowman head falling on Ncuti and the conversation with the police officer were Disney-mandated. They tested the episode on focus groups and they thought the Doctor should be more visible before he's introduced to Rubi Was the police officer the only white man in the episode? More tics than Alf Ippititimus. |

Didn't watch it, never will. The few short clips I've seen were enough to confirm that nothing of value was missed. Cancelation can't come soon enough.

All kidding aside, feel free to hate on the show for what it is now all you want, but let's not tar and feather people here who do enjoy it. Not everyone is a cultist shill like Confused Adipose, Mr. TARDIS, Doctor Freedom, and Tharries. There were things I didn't like about the special, but I still had a good time with it. What has Ncuti done other than exist to you? He's a fine actor. |

Gibson surprised the hell out of me. She comes across as quite genuine. Sorry Zarius, but I found Ncuti a bit awkward but then again he's saddled with bad dialogue.Even in the Season One trailer where he goes "classsssic" his delivery is very bizarre. I actually found Jodie less annoying.

Not much for me to say about this episode, except looking at pictures of Davina McCall that people have posted on twitter, I never noticed that she is 100 percent my type. Gigantic nose, dark hair, and she's middle aged too. (She always did look a bit mature.) If she took up singing, or got typecast as crazy female villains that love to torture guys, or put on weight and got a chubby, cute, round face, I'd be in love LOL.I never noticed it before as I've never really watched her as I cannot stand Big Brother (though I DO find Big Brother less offensive and dumbed down than Panel Shows.)

I watched The Church On Ruby Road and I found it quite amusing and entertaining and all this woke bs just made me laugh out loud. To be honest it was a load of shit and embarrassingly awful but it was a good laugh at the same time and what you’d expect from a Xmas special or a regular NuWho story anyway. I wouldn’t mind this NuWho shit if it didn’t pretend to be Doctor Who but an entirely different show but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
