He's buggered it up for everyone, though. Imagine wanting to start watching from the beginning and then finding the first ever serial isn't even there. I can imagine people being put off by that.

Just think of it like the Cushing movie and the novelisation that skipped over An Unearthly Child and went straight to Skaro.

Ian Levine vs Stef Colburn. Whilst I may be Ian's friend, I think we're all team Ian here. Also it's funny that Ian Levine is smeared by some as a woman hating misogynist, whilst here he is a lefty PC prick. Pissing off fanatics and tribal wankers will get you smeared as both from time to time.

Every party needs a pooper He refers to “The Tribe of Gum” and not “An Unearthly Child”. Does this mean that the first episode will still be included? I’ve warmed to the latter segment of that story over the years. Shame to see that it won’t be included in this new iPlayer archive. Typical- on account of Coburn *and* the BBC.

Stef Coburn is convinced that his father invented Doctor Who and the BBC defrauded him, which then led to his death. Somehow.

I can't honestly see how this sad little prick can mess up anything. Put the thing on and let him rant. It's BBC property surely. I mean, maybe they are. There is no such story as The Tribe of Gum after all...

Yeah for some reason, then his vengeance will be complete. Honestly reminds me of Sutekh, "MY VENGEANCE STARTS HERE".
