To be honest though it does explain a lot of Penny's ridiculously nasty behavior towards me, again it's just that I was only here for the last year at the most when Penny was here. Why do it for the 9 years before hand and keep up a consistent identity and life like that? It's insane behavior honestly. Lady was real though wasn't she LOL. I don't know who is who anymore LOL. Is it possible Liam is having us on? I don't know the man so I won't judge. It just all seems hard to take in as it was such a long time. I knew a woman being on the forum was too good to be true. I bought all this Old Spice for nothing   |

Any Kylie fan is fine by me. I do wish we'd get more women on the forum. Geek girls are some of the nicest ducky's you'll ever find in your life. Sadly I think the Hive will forever be a sausage fest because we earned a reputation for being the anti sjw forum. (Sorry about that, that was largely my fault back in 2017.) As the previous hive is still the first one that comes up, well I think we're going to have that indefinitely which puts most women off. The anti SJW movement is genuinely sexist and vile. It comes out with things like hit the wall, high body count, run through too many times, women are afraid of accountability and time, all stomach turning phrases. Back in 2017 whilst I certainly wasn't anti women, I did overlook a lot of the shit these anti SJW wankers were coming out with because I hated the identity politics that was consuming DW and would even share videos from guys like Paul Joseph Watson under the idea of "well I agree with him on this so that's fine" UGH. Sadly like I said that I think tarnished our rep for a while, but here's hoping one day we escape from it. Lady meanwhile was alright. Again I think it's fair to say she made a snap shot judgement of me based on support for guys like PJW, but once we got by that which lasted a few years, we were both okay. She just didn't stick around as she doesn't know many people here. Shame as I think under different circumsatances I'd have got on with her as she LOVED Lady Gaga and I'm something of a fan you may have noticed haha. It's funny I've either been mistaken for a woman or gay because of my love of female singers and divas, or a psycho red piller because of my criticism of identity politics and when I used to post PJW haha. You can't say my posts weren't eclectic though. |

The "man pretending to be a woman" thing happens a lot on those sex chat sites. Curvy Jane with the big boobs is really 48 year old Darren from Plymouth. I get it happening there. That's an environment where you can troll people. (It's still a shitty thing to do don't get me wrong, but still.) However like I said it was until I showed up in 2017, such a pointless endeavor for Penny to do it on the Hive like 9 years? It would be like finding out I'm not Scottish now LOL. |

And I genuinely don't think Liam would do that. He never really got involved in much forum stuff. It just so happens he lived in London at the time. Funnily enough I met up with him in real life for the first time when I visited UK in Feb. After all these years of knowing him online. Honestly a nice chap. He took me to Ealing Broadway where they filmed the Autons breaking out of the shops in Spearhead From Space. A very special story for me, as it was my first. He also took me to Gunnersby Park Museum where there is a small selection of Who stuff. I know you've seen this pic on FB, but I'm sure Maxil will approve of the imperial Dalek.  |

You're a good bloke, and I regret some of the shit that went down. I've been as big a knobhead as anyone in various ways. We all get caught up in our own egos sometimes. But at least we've got Ian Levine to thank as a living reminder of when you've gone too far. lol I mean he does say some absolutely terrible things, like literally wishing death on people and seeking info on the real identity of his enemies so he can send some heavies round, but on the plus side his recons are getting better. lol |

I know some of the previous hivers met for B-Fore's (who I never knew) funeral. Bill lived in Nottingham same as me, so I used to see him a lot and got to know him well. He was a complex character, and someone I didn't always see eye to eye with, to put it mildly. We met online on a forum called DW2005, which actually started up in 2004 I think, in anticipation of NuWho. Little did we know what was coming back then. lol We watched the leaked episode of Rose after I downloaded it. It was through him that I first met Mike and a few other characters. Sorry I've turned this thread into a memory lane convo. lol |

I wasn't beating myself up I don't think. I mean we've all gone through periods where we look up to someone politically because we agree with them on an important issue, but then we see what they think on other issues. I still go through that at times, as seen with Tulsi Gabbard. Best just to take as you find with commentators. Only a few like John Pilger keep their integrity to the end. Meanwhile Ian Levine's really going off the deep end with these AI recons. Honestly I'm beginning to feel sorry for him again as he just has so many enemies out there waiting to f*ck him over. Still his tantrums don't do him any favors as once they know they can get a rise out of you, they never stop. |

Fathead, MofFAT, and Chibbynall were all true who fans in fact the truest of the true who fans. Only second to Ian Levine (who loves the vast majority of NuWho). Reddit is not exactly a place young people go to hang out its mostly 30s-40s people who were alive for the tail end of NuWho and the wilderness years. Is it that all the people who watched true who were idiots who just misunderstood the program? Or is this what Doctor Who was all along? I think RTD in the Giggle basically stated this, within the 14th Doctor (David Tennant who is a massive fan of the 3rd and 5th doctors) is a gay black man without pants. Who calls others "honey" and goes dancing at clubs. You may not like it, you may hate it with every fiber of your being. But its the logical conclusion to TruWho. If truwho was never taken off air you know would be running it? The same people who do so now. Hope this makes you feel better, but my experience on a Xena forum today shows me that this phenomenon of fans not getting something to a laughable extent is true for many other shows. I won't dwell too much as I've already brought this up. In fact I promise this will be the last time I ever, ever, ever, ever bring it up, but I DO feel it is valid for any classic who fan who is feeling this way to show you, you are not alone and it clearly does not reflect on Classic Who at all. Xena is a show about female empowerment. In fact much like DW it's about a character who shuns all authority and lives life by their own terms. Today I suggested, just as an aside that Gina Carano would make a great Xena and........ it went down like Hiroshima. They all to the last believed lies and smears that she was a racist, an anti semite, a transphobe, a right wing psychopath, a holocaust denier, because Disney said so. Never mind the fact that NONE of them could list one thing she said that was transphobic, she has a history of supporting LGBT people and even possibly had an affair with one (which they said was fake.) Then there is also her public support of Julian Assange, a genuine left wing cause. Disney said she was transphobic and bigoted. That is Disney, a company founded by a rabid anti communist, that bullied a grieving father out of putting a picture of Spider-Man on his 4 year year old son's grave because they couldn't bleed money out of it, and that hires guys like Mark Hamill who donated money to actual Nazis in Ukraine to buy weapons and who does an interview where he is talking with a Neo Nazi and calling him a hero, whilst he has a Nazi flag in the background, and then there's NPH who they also hired (though you all know him LOL.) Oh and they also said she was too fat, ugly, and old looking to play a sexy role like that, went into details about how her face is too puffy, how she's a plastic surgeried mess (when she hasn't had any work done) and belittled all her achievements in being a pioneer in a male dominated area too. I mean yeah I can definitely see how fans of a show famous for empowering women, that's about a woman who shuns and resists all authority would take the side of the evil, ruthless company over an actual strong woman who was a pioneer in actual male dominated areas, oh and belittle those achievements and make out she's a big fat ugly heffer, and blindly support the company even when it shows blatant hypocrisy in firing her for nothing and hiring actual Neo Nazi supporters whose money goes to helping them get weapons and guys who indulge in cannibal fantasies. No double standard there at all, That's definitely what you'd think fans of a big female empowerment show would do right? |
