My pick would be Love & Monsters.
Yeah, it has its goofy moments, but without those it's actually quite a dark little story that plays quite excellently with its allusions to obsessive fanbases, social degradation and hope for a better tomorrow in a dying world. It almost serves as a grim little portrait of the urban lives of "little people" during the early 2000s, with the Doctor as this sort of saviour figure who might rescue them from the humdrum. It's much cleverer than most people give it credit for, and I actually found some of the humour rather funny, although it is just very clearly missing the mark. I seem to be the only one who has no problem with that blowjob joke at the end. It's a tiny throwaway line that kids won't get it and adults will laugh at; nothing out of the ordinary for a show like this. Overall I'd give it a 7/10. It's a strange little story but it does throw around some interesting concepts and I wish it hadn't been such a failure with the fans at the time, although I will grant that 90% of experiments go wrong, and that's really what this episode is: an experiment. Have fun with it, don't take it too seriously, and it just flies by. It's a hidden gem for sure.
What about you guys? Which ordinarily hated episodes do you enjoy?

The Gunfighters - I don't mind the music. It's a cute little western, and Hartnell is on top form.
The Wheel in Space - Probably the smartest Cybermen scheme.
The King's Demons - Ainley/Davison era comfort food.
Planet of Fire - A good exploration of Turlough's character. Peak Davison, he's very good in this.
The Trial of a Time Lord - Colin is much improved from season 22. Even Mindwarp has lots of entertainment value with Brian Blessed and Sil. I think the Matrix in The Ultimate Foe is way better than in The Deadly Assassin.
Paradise Towers - The Cleaners' theme alone should give it a 9/10.
Delta and the Bannermen - Camp nonsense, but with a good heart.
Silver Nemesis - I appreciate it more than Remembrance of the Daleks. There's more going on. Love the hints about the Doctor's background (emphasis on hints, not a Powerpoint presentation).
Aliens of London - Farting aside, it's actually a pretty tense thriller.
Robot of Sherwood - Clara is tolerable, and Gatiss is one of the few NuWho writers who actually knows how the show should be written, so Capaldi is utilised way better than usual.
Smile - I don't get the hate for this at all. I know 'emoji as villain' sounds dumb, but so does a lot of other Dr Who ideas. It's executed well, and I love how the first 20 minutes or so is just them exploring, like a classic part one.

Delta and Nemesis are great. I like The Underwater Menace too.

I didn't know Smile got hate. I find it a tad dull but it's not bad. Happiness Patrol did it better mind. Nimon is criminally underrated huge fun. Attack of the Cybermen is obviously brilliant. Battlefield gets a lot of stick (or used to, not sure about now) but is great fun. Gunfighters is fun. I quite like AOL too.

The Keys of Marinus and The Web Planet - For being imaginative and experimental, sci-fi stories.
The Dominators - I've just always enjoyed this one.
Day of the Daleks - Because it's awesome.
The Horns of Nimon - Far better then it's reputation suggested
The Key to Time Arc - Probably Tom's most consistent season.
The King's Demons - Same reason as rushy
Trial - I really don't see why it's so hated. It's a very imperfect season due to the drama behind the scenes but it watchable at worst, with Mindwarp having me in hysterics.
Paradise Towers - Bloody Amazing
Dragon Fire - Still an ok watch.

Classic Series:
The Chase - It's actually my favourite fully existing Hartnell Dalek story. It's a laugh from start to finish.
Wheel In Space - Overlong and boring maybe, but has a great payoff in the final 2 episodes.
Invasion of Dinosaurs - Dunno why this gets slagged off, I think it's terrific.
Creature from the Pit - No classic, but the production values are nice and the rivalry interplay between Adastra and The Doctor is good
Warriors From the Deep - Come on, this ones a laugh. Davison puts in one of his best acting performances whilst the whole productions falling down around his ears. It's hilarious.
Timelash - Same as above. It's trash, but entertaining trash at the same time and a good laugh.
Paradise Towers - Terrible over the top panto acting, but there's something about the story particularly comic strip narrative that I like. I could imagine this being illustrated in DWM by John Ridgeway.
NuPooh:
Journey Into the Centre of the TARDIS - I really like this one, don't understand the slagging it gets.
Sleep No More - Another one I really like which I've never understood the slagging it gets.

Day is hated? Really? Fandom must be even stupider than I thought. Sun Makers is a classic and Dinos isn't far off.

Well not so much hated, but nearly every review of it I ever watched drowns on about the new cgi, and how it turned an ok story into a great one. The story is great as it was, the over the top CGI wank fest that's be plastered on it turns the final battle into an over the top joke in my eyes.

Never watched it. Of all Pertwee stories Day is one that needed new fx the least. And the fanwanking over the Dalek voices is puerile. I've never even noticed any difference, and I'd rather the originals than Nick f*****g Briggs doing the same schtick he's been doing for 20 years again...

The story is great as it was, the over the top CGI wank fest that's be plastered on it turns the final battle into an over the top joke in my eyes. Never understood the double standard over the final battle. I mean, the 2005 Dalek story often gets lauded for it's depiction of a sole Dalek causing havoc. So surely seeing three Daleks here leaving just as much carnage would be a plus point. I didn't actually mind the added scenes but felt in the end they added nothing and felt ultimately shallow. Anyways, as for underrated stories (Some hated, some more forgotten than anything). I'd say Hartnell: The Chase, Myth Makers and Smugglers Troughton: The Abominable Snowmen, Wheel In Space. Dominators and The Krotons Pertwee: Ambassadors Of Death, Day Of The Daleks, Planet Of The Daleks and Planet Of The Spiders Tom: Sontaran Experiment, Planet Of Evil, Masque Of Mandragora, Face Of Evil, Sunmakers, Pirate Planet, Nimon and Meglos. Davison: Castrovalva, Black Orchid, Snakedance, The Awakening and Frontios Colin: Nearly all of S22 really. McCoy: Paradise Towers, Happiness Patrol, Battlefield and Survival Mcgann: The TV Movie (It's a 5/10 at best but he's brilliant and the design and score are a treat), Storm Warning and Stones Of Venice As for NuWho Eccleston: Unquiet Dead Tennant: Tooth And Claw, Daleks In Manhattan, Lazarus Experiment and Planet Of The Ood. Smith: Time Of Angels, God Complex, JTTCOTT and Asylum Of The Daleks

Agree with Rob about Sleep No More. One of the relatively few times Nu Who tried a completely original horror angle and it worked- better than the gasmasks one in season 1, with the sanitised ending.
As for Tru Who, I've always had a bit of time for Power Of Kroll, even if some think it's one of the weaker of the Keys To Time season and they don't like the Swampies. Tom and Mary are on fine form, the setting works well and there's a strong guest cast.

Maybe I'm in a minority here, but I actually really like the revamped Day of the Daleks.
It's elevated one of my previously thought "meh" Pertwee stories into one of my most favourite.
I realise Nick Briggs is not everyones cup of tea because of his NuWho luvviness and BF wankery, but I do find his Dalek voices speed the thing up so much more and make it seem more like a Season 8 story.

I like the Chase just because it's utterly mental, fun and littered with mistakes. It's the ultimate popcorn Dalek adventure in my opinion.
