Ah, going to the cinema used to be a wonderful thing. Went a few times as a kid, and then as a teenager. I was 17 before I actually saw a shit movie at the cinema (Alien 3), sadly I've seen many since. These days I can barely be bothered. It means catching buses and then traipsing about to get there, $25 a time with bus fare and a drink/ice cream, all for either crushing boredom or "it was alright I suppose" mediocrity. Yawn. No wonder cinemas are dying. I'd rather be at home with my little dog tbh.

My earliest memory of the cinema was in 2004 when we all went to see Prisoner of Azkaban. I was a big boy until the Dementors showed up and then I had to cuddle up with my mum lol

I just pirate everything. I watch so much and I just can't afford to be a good boy and pay my way. Streaming releases are easy enough to get but theatrical stuff has to wait a few months.

I'm telling! Na, I used to torrent everything as a teenager. I wasn't careful either. I'm really surprised I never got caught doing it. I don't do it now because I'd rather just save up and pay for things.

I went to see three of the five Twilight movies at the cinema. Dreary beyond belief. They do have their miserable moments! In the second one I remember there was a scene where Bella moped at the window for a whole year because her vampire 'boyfwiend' buggered off... Are we absolutely sure this isn't Series 7..?

XD I also remember posters for Casino Royale being everywhere, but I had no interest in James Bond until a decade later.

Harry Potter and Casino Royale were both before my time. Who's the whippersnapper now?

To be fair I was alive when they came out, just too young for my parents to bother taking me along. We didn't go to the cinema or watch films very often at all, so I have some gaping blind spots in what I've seen.
