Love:
The big screen The sound The premium seats The saver prices for film tickets The chance to see old films on the biggest screen
Dislike:
The extortionate prices for food and drink People who have their phone on during the movie. People who talk through the film The ads that go on for more than 45 minutes When they don't turn the lights off during the film. It's better in the dark.

Not been in over two and a half years.
The cinema was magic as a kid. By the 2010s it almost felt like a chore, not least due to the quality of most of the movies...

I'm going on Tuesday. I'm not a huge fan of my Odeon though. A new Cineworld is being built about a ten minute walk away from me so I won't have to go all the way into town to see a film.

People who kick the back of my seat. They deserve to be slapped.

Haven't been since last August. I might go and see the 45th anniversary showing of Superman as they've finally annouced it in my area.

I'm going to see the Flash. I wasn't born when Michael Keaton was Batman in 1989 and I was a baby when Returns came out so I'm really looking forward to seeing him on the big screen.

I only really go to the cinema for the big franchise films, or if I'm hanging out with a friend. Last thing I saw in the cinema was probably No Time to Die.

I know you said that you loved Keaton's Batman? I must confess I'm quite excited at the prospect of him meeting new heroes, as that was something you always wanted to see as a child, but knew it would never happen as it would have been more difficult. Then when we finally did get a Batman who worked with other heroes on screen, well it didn't quite live up. No disrespect to Affleck who was great, it was more just because we hadn't got time to know his Batman before hand. Now that it's Keaton however for me at least it will be a lot more special. Though I admit it's a shame its that psycho Miller.

I can't be arsed. I never liked the actor playing the Flash, not a big Flash fan in general and having Keaton return in a movie about an unrelated superhero doesn't make much sense to me. I get that the Flash's powers allow for interdimensional stuff and whatever, but it's just cheap fan service meant to draw audiences.

Pros Audio quality Picture Seats at the front Those red spinning chairs outside the theatre (What can I say, I'm easily amused...) The popcorn is at least decent and you get a decent variety of choices. Comfiness of the seats A genuinely great experience if the film is good.
Cons Nearly £20 for a bucket of popcorn and a drink. Back in my day, They'd charge you under a quarter for that and I'd still have enough for a game or two of Space Invaders! People waffling on right next to me. People puffing on those little highlighter vapes in front. (Mind you, this only happened when I was last there for NTTD). Bellends who throw popcorn at their mate in front and end up hitting me in back of the head. Being asked if I'm over 18 and getting ID'd (I mean, how many under 18s do you know who are 6ft 3 and have greying receding hair, eh?) Feeling like a mug if the film is shite.

I agree thought it's going to be hard to stomach one Ezra Miller, never mind two. Honestly why they didn't do this story with Grant Gustin who everybody loved as the Flash and wasn't you know a creepy predator I'll never know. DC are the only franchise that's as f*cked up as DW

I've always loved the experience, even to this day. It's just so dame expensive. I'd go more often if it wasn't such a gauge on my wallet.
