One thousand people blocked me in a Fans of Thirteen fan group on Facebookwhat a accomplishment lol i was trying to reason with them I said lets just agree to disagree they were not having it lol.

Sorry to hear that, but hey not only can you consider it a badge of honour, you can also consider yourself lucky. At least they didn't tell you you were sexually intimidated by Jodie Whittaker, tell you to go kill yourself, dogpile on you, call you an alt right piece of shit, who hates women, black people, trans people and any other group they can thin of, who Jodie apparently represents. In a way though I think it is quite funny as back in 2018 when ONE Jodie episode got good viewers, these pricks clung to that and would have used all those abusive tactics against you, but now it seems they know they sunk the franchise and so they just want to stick their fingers in their ears and go LALALALALALALALALALALALALALALLA

When I first saw the teaser trailer with her in the black hoodie, I thought we were going to get something like "Galadriel as the Doctor". You know, very aloof, laconic and in tune with nature. It would've been a nice change of pace after how frantic Tennant, Smith and even Capaldi were. |

I think it's safe to say that a lot of them are more intimidating than Jodie LOL. Amy Winehouse would bite her face off! Also I did fancy Jodie for a while anyway after hearing her sing. Her voice was honestly heavenly, but her doctor persona killed it not long after. I'm sure she will never love again. I agree that her Doctor far from being this female icon is probably the most genderless female character I've ever seen, but it's not even like she is trans, or someone who flaunts gender expectations like Grace Jones or Pink. It is literally like they remove any feminine traits and then add nothing else, which considering she doesn't have anything else in her persona, makes her the blandest doctor yet. They seem to get it the wrong way around. IE they think when writing a female character, you show how much it doesn't bother you, by removing any feminine traits from her, but at the same time they never shut up about how marvellous they are for having a woman. IE the advert has to be her breaking glass, they have to say that no women did anything before her, have to have her say that being a woman is better than being a man. It's the other way around! Like Xena and Buffy who were both feminine, but who the shows didn't have to say "OHHHHHH LOOK HOW AMAZING THIS IS, WE HAVE A WOMAN!" It's a shame really as Jodie has quite a cool style in real life.   Would have at least more personality than that AWFUL Colin Bakeresque costume. |

PS I was blocked by their figurehead, Russell T Davies himself. He and Moffat had ganged up on some fan for being right wing. Now Bernard told me this guy they were ganging up on is a right wing asshole, so fair enough, but still I got a bit sick seeing everybody coo over RTD and Moffat, especially that Barnaby Edwards git, going on about how he loves blocking abelists and racists and bigots. So I let a message on RTD's insta, stating that Neil Patrick Harris was worse than the guy he blocked, and others that the fandom have turned against like James Dreyfus, and that if NPH gets to work on the show then James Dreyfus should be rehired. I also pointed out that saying you hate the pride march isn't as bad as NPH's cake of Amy Winehouse's corpse. I hate the Pride march. I think it has become cliquey, and shallow. It's a way for people to say "I support the gays" whilst not doing anything to actually help. He blocked me within a minute, just like Mr Tardis deleted my comments pointing this out on a video where he was chewing Bowlestrek a new asshole for being toxic (after he fawned over NPH on twitter.) |

I'll be honest here I am disappointed in RTD. I didn't think I'd get any response. I honestly thought to him I'd just be old man yells at cloud. I thought if he did respond it would be a PR attempt to reassure me IE "NPH regrets what he did and so we are giving him another chance, it's important to make everyone feel included blah, blah, blah." By blocking me however he showed that he really does have no answer, and BTW if he thinks this is going away he is sorely mistaken. How long before other people like Nerdrotic pick up on this bit of hypocrisy next time New Who virtue signals or complains about toxic fandom?
I have to give more respect to Lily Allen, Paloma Faith, V V Brown, and Kate Nash with this in mind. As much as I love all 4, they have all been guilty of going along with the current thing politically. (Lily Allen went through an absolutely horrificly bad phase like that in the late 2010s with her apologising on Britain's behalf to a refugee LOL. It was hard being a Lily fan during that time.)
Still to their credit I have posted things disagreeing with them politically on all their social media accounts over the years and NEVER been blocked. And it's not like they don't see them, as they have all replied to my and other fans posts just like RTD. (In fact Paloma Faith's mother even liked one of my posts LOL. It seems I'm popular among famous singers mothers, as Amy Winehouse's mother also liked an article I wrote about her.)
Still I've never been blocked even when I posted a big rant saying Biden was worse than Trump on Paloma's page, when she was giving the usual celebrity Trump is Hitler rant. With V V Brown meanwhile I got into a huuuge debate with someone about Ukraine, with Kate Nash I questioned her boycott of Joe Rogan directly, whilst with Lily Allen, well I must admit I'm not too proud of what I wrote there.
I thought she was getting a bit too thin and I said as much. Now don't get me wrong here I was NOT making fun of her looks. I'd never do that to anyone, and I wasn't even saying she looked bad. I was more just worried about her starving herself. I have a thing about anorexia, as someone I knew who was very close to me died of anorexia. Added to that we all know how f*cked up the entertainment industry is when it puts pressure on women's looks. Amy Winehouse, Karen Carpenter, both starved themselves basically to death, and the amount of female celebs that go on about how fat they are, or who get bad plastic surgery because of the c*nty industry wanting everyone to look like plastic dolls, is too big to list. Look at the shit there was around that gorgeous female model who was built like Xena, but told by Jordan Peterson that she was too fat, and that the commies were trying to brainwash us into finding her attractive.
So I guess I was just worried that she was going down that route and left a comment saying she was fine as she was and didn't need to starve herself, but I shouldn't have done that as I'm not her dad and it's none of my business, but still I didn't get blocked or even singled out for that and to be honest if I had, I couldn't have complained.
Yet she showed more maturity than RTD, a man twice her age.

It's gone on about wanting to get Neil Patrick Harris fired, Gareth Roberts fired, cheered when they were and ranted about Bowlestrek and others being toxic. Soooo I felt it was fair to bring up NPH who hasn't be met with any backlash and the hypocrisy of that, and how if they are okay with him, then others like Bowlestrek and James Dreyfus should be reconsidered.
