My Great Auntie is basically on her death bed. Saw her today and she's just not the women I grew up knowing anymore.
The one good thing from the visit was a smile and the ghost of her old self for a moment.
I'm glade I went all the way to see her, if just for that moment and to say goodbye in my heart.

Oh God, sorry to hear it folks. Know what it's like, my dad passed away three weeks before Xmas in 2021 and Mum was practically on her death bed last year. So f*cking depressing.
If anything, even being stuck by myself this might still end up being the best one for three years!

You're not supposed to take them down till the 5th or even 6th, Maxil. Mine are staying up until at least Friday!  |

I simply cannot wait for Friday, a day which marks the 40th anniversary of Part 1 of Warriors of the Deep! This is like Christmas all over again! We'll all be on the floor by the evening.  |

I thought it would be fun to go through one of my drawers and see if any of my old technology in there still worked. There's a USB stick I've had for at least nine years that still functions. One of my other devices, which I bought in 2018, has a bunch of old sitcom episodes still on it. There were also a few blank discs that must be over ten years old of films I downloaded off the internet back when I still did that stuff. So nothing of any real interest or excitement. I did however manage to find an old PS2 game of the Matrix in one of my disc holder things. Doubt it works, though.

The one thing of interest I suppose is a Prince compilation disc that I made back in 2014. It has all the alternate Batman tracks he did as well as extended versions and that "Dance with the Devil" song that got rejected. These were rare at the time because there wasn't any Prince on YouTube and I had to torrent them. I assume they're all on YouTube now.

I found a Reddit group called LadyLadyBoners, where gay and bi women talk about what celebs they find hot. I don't know about anyone else, but reading a bunch of women pratically drooling over the likes of Elisabeth Shue is VERY fun  I'm just hoping they're not all guys pretending to be girls. |
