The company I work for had their Christmas booze-up last week and predictably, many staff members got drunk, made complete arses of themselves and were filmed doing so, much to their shame and embarrassment the next day. I avoided all this by staying home, and am happy I did so.
That's exactly the way I feel about this latest series of Chibnall nonsense Doctor Who - I'm glad I avoided it.

That sounds more entertaining than that episode last night.

From Gallifrey Base: Am I correct in assuming that this episode is MORE divisive than The Timeless Children? I haven't seen either, nor any of the Whittaker/Chibnall era, but it's looking like this is the most reviled episode of this era. What happened? Even GB hate it! Haha I wonder what those absolute arses Culfy, Loonbroyx and that abusive sociopath Nullain have to say about it now. Am I a delusional right wing mad man because I think the show is failing now? This was one of only two I watched this season and it was hilariously bad. To quote our Mr Filth. "I don't know where to begin slagging it off it was so f*cking piss poor." Seriously I forgot in my initial post the Sontarans being addicted to chocolate, the Dog people being wiped out casually off screen after contributing bugger all, time itself being a weird headed alien, oh and best of all, you know what the story arc is for Jodie's last few episodes? The Doctor has been given a prophecy telling him that he is going to die. Yep that story that they used in 2009 (he will knock four times) series 5 (the Doctor knew the TARDIS was going to blow up.) Series 6 (with lake silencio) and series 7 (Trenzalore.) That's how f*cking bereft of ideas they are. Absolutely f*cking pathetic.

5.6 on IMDB and will probably fall even lower as more votes come in.
Nicola Bryant said this
"Well I've just caught my breath! What a roller coaster, timey-wimey (urgh), adrenaline rush of an episode"
Is she talking about a McCoy story instead?

This was one of only two I watched this season and it was hilariously bad. To quote our Mr Filth. "I don't know where to begin slagging it off it was so fokking piss poor." Seriously I forgot in my initial post the Sontarans being addicted to chocolate, the Dog people being wiped out casually off screen after contributing bugger all, time itself being a weird headed alien, oh and best of all, you know what the story arc is for Jodie's last few episodes? It’s funny how foretelling of death really lose their punch when they keep happening. Worse they have all the kinetic force of leaf blowing in the wind when some idiot has give the main character infinite lives. Then just to twist the knife the show and main character are now so disliked that many wish that this time it happened and stuck. Remember the good old days when the Doctor dying was not a universal event? It was him, on an adventure, something went wrong, he had to make a one of his many tough choices but this time things just didn’t go his way? Or he was old or had an accident? Aside from Colin these “less significant” ends were far more personal and relatable to many people.

Jodie Whittaker worried she’d ‘ruined’ the chance of another female actor playing the Doctor www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/tv/news/jodie-whittaker-doctor-who-leaving-b1970033.html?ampDon’t get to excited though, these were her thoughts after the first season of her era. Sadly this is not a last minute bit of self reflective, sanity, in which she realises she’s the worst performer to hold the role, in its worse era ever (so far) and yes might very well have insured that not actresses worthy of the role will ever get it. No it’s just the usually bit of nonsense self dought, that only serves to bolster her I’ll conceived convictions by the look of it.

Only three more episodes to go and she's out of there. We never have to reflect on her again after that.

I'm predicting this; the fourteenth Doctor will be the final Doctor.
The show will die and take a near twenty year hiatus.
Whether or not RTD improves it is irrelevant. Not even the McCoy/Cartmel partnership could turn things around in the late 80s (and, to this day, that is among one of the most beloved eras of the show).
The next Doctor is the last Doctor.
I put money on it.

Actually Maxil sorry if that comment came over as offensive as I know that right now is a sensitive issue for you. (Though just to be clear it shouldn't be, but still.)
Anyway apparently it got 3.5 million viewers. Not as low as I would have liked, but still not great by any stretch. It was beaten by Countryfile LOL.
Time to pull the plug. Who knows what shit Chibbers will unleash on us in the meantime.

Ratings in for the Fluxxed finale: 3.58. Beaten soundly by Countryfile.

I just wish I wasn't banned from Gallifrey Base so I could rub it in the little shits faces. Also are those monsters Critters? I loved those movies. Funny thing is the second movie actually had an alien transexual character, but it was done so much better than Jodie. Mostly because the actress didn't scrunch her face up, and talk in a squeaky voice like "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I'm right mad I am."

Here it is.
The bit I was talking about. Jodie's pain acting, whilst also flirting with herself.
Jesus Christ and to think that people said Sylvester McCoy played it as a panto character!
