Another Doctor Who CD for my collection. This time the rare Curse of Fenric album from 1991. Now I've got this, Caves, Ghost Light, Survival, the 25th Anniversary album and the 50th Anniversary collection. Not a bad little collection of Who music.

Tickets to see England Women play Spain at Carrow Road in Norwich in February. I love women's football. It's true that I do partly enjoy it for the cute players (I'm only human), but I do enjoy the football too. Just for anyone that is interested, these are the prettiest players in my opinion: Leah Williamson: Toni Duggan (although she doesn't really play for England anymore) Rachel Daly (my fav)

Got Cocktail (1988) and Adventures in Babysitting (1987) in my HMV basket. I swear I'm buying them for the story and not for some other reason...

I've never actually seen Cocktail. Let me know what it's like. I haven't bought yet, but am considering buying some poster frames for after I've moved, both for some A4 prints and larger ones. The larger ones are more expensive but still do-able. I just think they'd look so much classier than holding them up with pins or effing blutac as well as protecting the posters better. I've actually bought over a dozen giant sized new posters a month or so back that I haven't even taken out as I knew I was moving, and I've done some prints myself of some stuff including some classic Who and even a couple of Wicked Science ones (with Bridget looking all hot ). They'd just look a lot nicer framed and I think with this move now's the time to do it.

Got Adventures in Babysitting and Cocktail in the post today. Will probably watch them after my birthday or save them for an epic Elisabeth Shue marathon later down the line.
The Back to the Future trilogy on Blu ray is in my basket at the moment as is the Universal Weird Science Blu ray. I might change it to the Arrow version of it though because apparently that's got better quality but is slightly more expensive.

I've seen this movie a few times, but I've never decided to buy it until now. It's hilariously stupid but really fun. My favourite pornstar Barbara Dare is in too Ahh, the 90s.

Only shit I've been buying recently have been the 2000AD Ultimate Collection Series. Recent books have been: Mean Arena: Haven't read this since the 80's, but it actually stands the test of time quite well(it takes place in the early 2020's!) It's quite good fun and all 4 of the main artists put their own individual stamp on the story. Would have loved longer contributions from Steve Dillon and Eric Bradbury though! Brass Sun: I hadn't read this before and it was pretty good, nice original premise with good world building and I dunno why, but for some reason the artist reminds me of Herge, maybe it's the simplicity of the characters faces? It's good stuff anyway and I look forward to the next book. The cover reminds me of a McGann EDA for some reason? ABC Warriors:Return to Earth. I hadn't read this one before either, but I absolutely LOVED the preceding Volgan Wars storyline and thought it the best ABC Warriors I had read since their first origin storyline. Clint Langley mixes black and white "old school" line drawings (for flashback events) with the more photorealistic stuff he usually does which makes for an interesting comparison. Pat Mills does some join the dots continuity labouring which although quite nice and neat, for some reason doesn't impact me as well as the Volgan Wars series did, although there are still a few nice set pieces.(i.e. Hammerstein rising from the swamp) Sinister Dexter Vol 4: Dan Abnett is starting to cast build again in this volume and there's some nice character touches, I also like the way the series has dropped some of it's earlier Tarantino type trappings and introducing a more sci-fi element, the parallel universe stuff is fascinating. Cradlegrave: Well, there's nothing more I can say other than this IS undoubtedly John Smiths best work. Possibly because unlike his other work it is the most grounded and realistically diague driven narrative he's ever employed. The double-reveal whammy is also a great shocker and is what makes it such a good contemporary horror story. I could easily imagine this being adapted by the BBC and being an instant hit and cult classic. The two back-up stories aren't bad either, particularly Stone Island which is great fun.

Going to pop out for some Pepsi later. Maybe the Cherry or Raspberry flavour or just the blue sugar one. I like them all to be honest. If Pepsi was as healthy as water I would drink it by the ton 24/7.

Back to the Future trilogy looks good on Blu ray. I actually think III looks the best despite being the one I like the least. I have seen 80s films in better quality on the format, but for £15 for all three films and a bonus disc I can't complain.

Doctor Who series 11 to help with my new obsession.
Only joking. I'm not THAT far gone. Jodie would have to sing better than Amy Winehouse, Aretha Franklin, Billie Holiday, Paloma Faith, Lady Gaga and Freddie f*cking Mercury combined to mesmerise me to THAT extent LOL.
I recently bought a series called Forever Knight online. It's about a vampire detective and since I'll be finishing Angel soon I thought I'd give this a go. I might watch it before Buffy depending on when it arrives.

Yeah, don't ever get Series 11. It will taint your DVD collection forever.
