Had a day out in Nottingham today with my partner and towards the end, stopped off at an small comic collectable shop and found this oddity. 23 years out of date, I know. But thankfully, that's just the separate booklet and the Dalek can be displayed without it. I also managed to get the novelisations of Tenth Planet (this one signed by Anneke Wills), Web Of Fear and Awakening along with the calendar all for £3.00

The Tenth Planet novel is terrific so enjoy reading that one. I never find many good who items in my local charity/collectable shops. I do like buying stuff from Who One on the Internet, though. They have a huge collection of old target novels in brand new condition.

Timelord Victorious - Blu ray collection.
Saw this set was on offer so decided to get it. A few stories I already have on blu ray such as Fenric and Deadly Assassin, but I didn't have Planet of the Daleks and State of Decay (on any format, actually) which I wanted. The other classic story is Genesis of the Daleks which I've never actually watched on the format before. There are two NuWho stories: The dodgy Christmas special The Runaway Bride and the slightly better Waters of Mars. I'm not sure what links them all because I have zero interest in any of this Timelord victorious stuff.

Fabulous has released both Teen Wolf movies together on Blu ray. It's apparently a brand new remaster for both films as well as loads of special features. I would buy it, but £24.99 for two movies, both of which are barely 90 minutes each, is really taking the piss somewhat. The Karate Kid films set is the same price, but there's two extra films in that one. I might get it when it's on sale. Always thought the second one was kind of cool even though Bateman is a bit of a prat in it.

Tim Vine - Sunset Milk Idiot on DVD
Saw this reduced in HMV's very well small standup comedy section and decided to buy it. I love Tim Vine's style of comedy so looking forward to popping this on at the weekend.

Echo & The Bunnymen: Killing Moon - The Singles 1980-1990 on CD.
£3.99, what a bargain! All their best songs are here including my personal favourite, the Cutter:

The Cars - Greatest Hits on CD
This music puts me in a very happy place. Nice to get all their best stuff on one disc for a low price. Their 80s stuff is amazing, but I'm actually digging their late 70s stuff too.

I bought Nonetheless, the latest Pet Shop Boys album in ASDA of all places. It seems to be the only supermarket that still sells CDs and films. I think it's one of their best albums in recent times with several of the songs such as "Loneliness" and "Feel" being on par with their 90s/00s work. They're clearly a lot more open about being gay now than they were in their Please/Actually days and I don't really mind. I've always found refuge in their music anyway mainly because of my mental health. I'm glad they're still going strong and haven't faded away.

Charity shop haul. $5 (£2.50) each. No idea what the WotW series is like, but worth a go at that price for 3 disc sets. And SW Blu is the only 3 films I'm arsed about, and it replaces my previous charity shop dvds.

I found a rare Blake's 7 novel at my local one once. It's currently being listed for £32 on Amazon, but I got it for £1 at the shop.

All of Elementary. Loved it and I don't think I've ever seen it all the way through. I only watched it online.

Finally got the proper B7 set. I did have this back in the UK years ago, before I flogged everything before migrating to Aus. I've been waiting for a reasonable price for a while, and tend to find Amazon faster and more reliable than eBay for UK stuff. I also used the extra 9% off 2 qualifying items and picked up The Celestial Toymaker for the equivalent of £18 quid, which is ok. But this was the bargain of the two as it was already reduced, and with the extra 9% off, it only cost me $47.57 dollars, which is about £24 quid, and works out at less then £1.20 per disc on a 20 disc set.
