It apparently did chart on Disney+ in the U.S. It's trending in fifth place.

Jesus Christ look at the overnights. When you couple this with the fact that it didn't chart on Disney Plus, really the show is dead. I reckon its next series will just be quietly buried in the summer slot like Primeval's was in 2012, after its fourth season flopped. Another hiatus can't come soon enough for DW. We just need to ensure that the next version has NOTHING to do with anyone from the Fitzroy Crowd. Imagine what its viewers will be by the end of the series run? This is already the lowest the show's ever sunk. I feel a bit bad for Bonnie Langford to be honest. Much like George Clooney coming back for the Flash, she spent decades being known for being in a crap version, then finally comes back thinking she'll get a second chance only for it to be another turkey. Not to burst the bubble, but this'll be because a lot of people watched it on the iPlayer the night before

I Player usually adds 2 million at the absolute most. It's toast.

This is God's revenge for doubling down on the timeless children

One thing that bugs me is that there's literally no conflict between the Doctor and Ruby. They're just best friends right from the get-go. The only tension is in the mystery box, which simply isn't compelling on a character level. And RTD can write great characters, as he demonstrated with Rose in her first two episodes. Honestly I think he's just at the stage in his life where he wants to hang out with a bunch of babies on set, so he writes it in, he wants to hang out with his drag buddies, so he writes it in, he thinks a musical number would be fun, so he writes it in. It's all very sugary and outwardly pleasant, but there is absolutely no trace of genuine character conflict or drama. Every bit of the story is predicated on bloated mystery box reveals.

Can't wait for the desperate ratings spin. 2.6 million is effing hilarious and no, I very much doubt the great British public were desperately watching it on iPlayer. These are Jodie figures, figures that for all the public claims of success saw the BBC Wales show axed.
Couldn't be happier. Now if you all stupid f*cks would stop hatewatching it too we could get it down to 1 lol.

2.4 for the second one apparently. lols 200,000 people evidently watched Space Babies and thought “F uck that. I’m not watching any more of this rancid rubbish.”

To put it into perspective: A friend of mine- who was a fan of NuWho as a child and initially naively optimistic about Chibnall’s departure- watched the Specials and Gatwa’s debut. She thought they were crap, and said that she wouldn’t watch the latest instalments unless she was up for “self-torture”.

I'm not going soft, but how much better is some of Series 2 looking compared to some of the absolute shit bombs in this latest era? A Rise of the Cybermen or Tooth or Claw wouldn't go amiss these days.

I wonder which Moffat will be behind "Boom," the one that wrote Blink or the one that wrote Death in Heaven.
