There's only one good writer to Russell T Davies and that's Russell T Davies.

He likes dishing it out, but can't take others criticising his work. Remember he also blocked me for bringing up NPH and saying maybe he shouldn't be virtue signalling when he is working with a man who creates misogynistic meat platters of recently deceased women (who suffered horrific abuse at the hands of the media.) I also agree with the statement that there is one good writer in his world, himself. He's like Nigel Kneale in that respect, though as much as it may pain me to say given what an arsehole he was too (and from the sounds of things a lot nastier person than even RTD,) Nigel Kneale was a lot more talented than Russell. I reckon Russell sings this to his own mirror every morning. Also remember this creepy quote about meeting Colin. "We talk and talk and talk, of days gone by and days to come, of theatre and telly and his kids (his daughter was a Floor Runner on the Doctor Who Weakest Link!), of Big Finish and The Brothers. And I get the chance to thank him. Colin - I can call him Colin now! - has said many lovely, kind things about the new Doctor Who, which we've all hugely appreciated. He didn't have to. When I'm his age, and the new 3-D-Holo-Who is blazing across BBC 9, starring Rocco Ritchie, I'll be mumbling "It wasn't like this in the old days," and "Bring back the Isolus!" as I chase the male nurse in my anti-grav wheelchair." Leaving aside that a straight man would NEVER have got away with making jokes about chasing the young attractive nurse in an old folks home (justifiably so.) As if Russell you'll be letting the next generation produce it when you're Colin's age. In fact this was 2007? So Colin was 64, and RTD is what 61? Yeah you or one of your friends from that same clique will still be producing it in another 15 years time in whatever form it is, and you'll still be being praised as tapping into the current zeitgeist of the 2040s like Buffy, X-Factor and McFly by your cult like followers.

He likes dishing it out, but can't take others criticising his work. Is it just me or is he not arguing against the very "principles" he's been noisily showing off since his return? Also, what the f*ck is "Nolly" and what happened to it..?

Surprisingly, he's right. I remember reading about this when it came out last year, and I really thought that his new era might be based because of it. Like, this is a based af quote, an all-timer. It perfectly explains the failure of the Chibnall years. What the f*ck happened with his revived era?

He says this yet he believes The Timeless Children, one of the worst Doctor Who related things ever, is a classic. I guess he only shits on bad scripts when they're not written by his mates.

There's no mystery here. If Davies seems like a walking contradiction, it's because he's a shameless, self-serving opportunist whose opinion of anything and everything changes with the wind according to what may serve him best and when. It's like being asked to explain Boris Johnson...

He and his ilk (which includes The Bill-destroying Paul Marquess) are the reasons British TV turned to shite in the 2000s so he can f*ck right off. He's an out of touch old fart desperately scrambling for relevance as the realisation dawns people have finally seen through his shallow one-trick pony posturing.

I hope Claudia doesn't mind me sharing this. I assume she doesn't as it was on her twitter page, but yeah. x.com/ClaudiaBoleyn/status/1771122217327194325?s=20Honestly can you think of anyone in DW that has torched their legacy as badly as RTD? I mean is there a single fan of HIS that he hasn't pissed off from the Davros change, to his obnoxious personality on instagram telling fans to f*ck off, blocking them, to his dodgy, hypocritical, virtue signalling politics? Honestly if he'd just stayed away and maintained a dignified silence he could have gone on making his "edgy" shows about gay people no problem. Hell even if he had returned to DW and done mediocre material he could have avoided this as long as he didn't dabble in politics and social media. It's funny because when you read JNT's biography, RTD's contributions are annoying and smug "I learned not to court the fans from JNT or interact with them via conventions." LMFAO he's interacted with his critics and revelled in fan adoration to a greater extent via his social media platforms. To be honest I don't think he would like to do a convention because he'd have to share the stage with others and because it's about the actual f*cking show. People didn't ask JNT "why are you so great" at a convention. It was about the show! RTD wouldn't want that. (Let's be honest he has very little interest in DW anyway. Also as conventions have family audiences he wouldn't be able to tell us about his conquests in the Manchester gay scene like he always does.) RTD has f*cked it up for himself like few before him and unlike JNT who despite his mistakes, was basically f*cked by the BBC, RTD's is entirely his own doing.

He's no longer NuWho fandom's sweetheart. It happened so quickly. I remember thinking "oh god we're going to have to wait about 20 years" but my god, 4 episodes into his new run and it's all just crumbling. Again entirely as a result of his own personality. I will say even Joss Whedon was better at covering up his obnoxious traits than this.

New trailer, by the way:
If you make it past Ncuti's cringe "GIVE ME THE LOVING!" you get a medal. F*ck, he's bad.
