Actresses I've met or had pleasant interactions with either at conventions or on social media.
Sophie Aldred (obviously, very nice, though ironically I only met her at a convention ten years before she'd work for me.)
Ingrid Oliver, met her at a convention and she signed the Peep Show s5 dvd (she said more people asked her to sign that than DW that day LOL), and had many pleasant interactions with her on instagram. She laughed at me comparing a symbol on some swanky shirt she had to a creature from greek mythology. She's never responded to my comments telling her she looks like Caro Emerald though. I suspect that's because she is secretly Caro Emerald and doesn't want me to spoil her joke of pretending to be two different people LOL. I think they're also both Brianna Buckmaster.
Katy Manning, I only met online, but she is every bit as nice as her reputation suggests. Tried to work out a voice over gig with her, but it didn't work out sadly. She still gave me lots of great encouragement and who knows maybe I'll get her for another series some day.
Susan Wokoma, before she had to limit her insta because of some insane stalker. She was my favourite actually. No diss to Sophie, I only spoke with Sophie once at the convention as all the work has been done through her agent. I sent her the stories, and she sends me Sophie's readings. Sophie was up for having me direct her, but ultimately that wasn't really possible considering the commute. I talked with Susan Wokoma meanwhile lots of times on insta. She was so f*cking funny, bubby, cute, cheeky and just amazing to talk too every time. I ended up fancying her even more than I did before going to her insta page if that was possible. Again my favourite comment was saying to her "God damn why are you so cute?" and her response "No idea? Rude that isn't it?" LMFAO.
Dana DeLorenzo is also always really sweet and cool in livestreams she's done with fans and when my uncle died a few years back suddenly and Dana's mother had died of cancer she gave me some really kind, comforting words on insta which meant the world to me, as AVED was my favourite show at the time. (My uncle's daughter who I'm still close with loves the show and Dana too and it meant a lot to her too.)
Renee O'Connor I sadly haven't met (teenage me would be very upset at that. He'd be upset at me for not marrying her yet LOL.) But again online she's always been very sweet and has a lot of time for people.
Jacqueline Pearce who was incredibly friendly and hilarious and so over the top. Spoke with her for a few minutes and she was such a good laugh. We even joked about how the autograph I got her to sign (I think it was from the Avengers) didn't look like her as she looked too innocent in it LOL.
As for guys well
James Marsters is an extremely friendly guy who shook my hand, asked me about my day and joked around with me. He might be the best. Hard to say. I couldn't flirt with him like Susan Wokoma LOL, but if I did I'm sure he'd have been okay with it.
Peter Purves was also a great guy, very friendly, had lots of cool stories. Told me Maureen O'Brien hated Adventure in Time and Space with a vengeance. He had mixed feelings on it. He wasn't quite sure why Maureen hated it so badly, but yeah she was not a fan of it.
Sylvester McCoy was very nice when I got his autograph and when I bumped into him just around. I also bumped into Burn Gorman at the convention when he was having his lunch and he was a really cool guy. Sadly I didn't get his autograph as at that point I only knew him from Torchwood but I've seen him in lots of other things since and can see what an amazing actor he is. (To be fair it was only the scripts that let him down in Torchwood and even then one episode about him, the one with the Grim Reaper is the only Torchwood episode that can be described as an all time classic. Funny what can happen when you try to write a story and not RTD's and Chibnall's wank fantasies.)
The worst celeb encounters I've had meanwhile would have to be Colin Baker and Graham Linehan.
Colin was not mean or nasty in the slightest, but he just seemed quite upset with how his era is regarded. When you tried to give him a compliment about his era he'd kind of act defeatist like "well glad one person likes me." Maybe he was just joking, but I don't know given how upset he has been about his era and Doctor being constantly voted the worst, I think it's probably how he felt which was very sad to see after all this time.
Meanwhile Linehan who I only talked with online was an absolute piece of shit. This was before his insane obsession with trans people btw. Back in 2018, he was actively trying to ruin the life of Count Dankula, who had been arrested for a joke. Linehan tried to stop a charity that was funding Dankula's legal bills. When I brought up how low that was, Linehan just said back "Gamman" and sicced his followers on me.
I didn't care, as much as I loved Father Ted growing up as I've heard about him being a wanker on twitter for quite a while, like defending a guy who called a woman "a barren old hag" because she said she wished he'd stop putting his child in his videos for the child's sake.
To be fair Linehan wasn't the only person responsible for Father Ted. Not only was it co-written with Arthur Matthews, but a lot of it came from Dermot Morgan's earlier act, Father Trendy which was all about a Priest wanting to be famous and is reflected in a lot of Ted's escapades like the Golden Cleric award, hell the Elvis episode was an old sketch Dermot Morgan use to do. That was my first indication of what a c*nt Linehan is when he said anyone could have played Father Ted and it wouldn't have made a difference. Dermot Morgan was amazing in that role and you absolutely could NOT have done the show without him. (Had he lived he would have made a great Patrick Troughton style Doctor too.)
