Jessica Raine from Hide and that Hartnell drama. Lovely lady.  Fantastic actress. Don't know why she's not in more? I thought the same. The only other thing I've seen her in is Call the Midwife, but that was quite a few years ago. I loved her character in Hide. It's rare for another woman to upstage Jenna Coleman. |

Glad to see Radhika Sanghani is making a move to the fantasy genre. She's doing a new book that's described as Buffy meets Hindu mythology. Lot's of really cool things to play around with in that mythology.
Meanwhile another amazing underrated chick who I just found out about today and who I have fallen in love with LOL is Katarina Kavaleva.
This woman is a 6 foot 4 kick boxing champ and oh dear god! Words can't describe how sexy she is. Think of the most ridiculous amazon babe from fiction, and they still don't compare to her. Seriously.
Look at this fight of her taking on a male champ. Now in all fairness this is just a friendly sparring match, so I'm not saying it's reflective of how it would go in a real match. Still that said she does at one point lift him up like a baby! I mean at the very least when she's that strong and quick enough to do that a pro, yeah I reckon you wouldn't want to mess with this babe.
Never been more jealous of a guy than when she lifted him up LOL. I'd just be sorry she'd put me down and didn't take me home to make me her pet.

In all seriousness it gets so annoying on these videos whenever you see a woman beat a guy and there's so many people going on about "He was just letting her win." Or "this will harm ladies as in real life a 13 year old could easily defeat a professional female wrestler." Seriously that's the kind of shit I see all the time on these videos. That last comment is more or less a quote!
No one is denying that men are stronger physically on average than women. That is basic sexual dimorphism, but to take it to the extent that even a guy like me, an untrained 6 foot guy could best someone like Gina Carano is f*cking ridiculous, never mind that a 14 year old could!
Honestly that kind of attitude hurts women more, as here's the thing if a woman is attacked she might not always have the option to run. I agree it's better to always run and scream if someone attacks you. (If you are a man or a woman, as you never know if your attacker is a psycho or not.) Still if you're cornered yeah, you might have to fight, and you don't want to convince women that they are so helpless, even a world champ could get bested by a small boy. Also this makes it harder for male victims of domestic violence to come forward too, as after all if a woman is sooooo much weaker than a man, her punches can't even match up to a teenage boy after years of bench pressing and weight lifting and extensive training then it's literally like being hit by a child isn't it? In fact less.
Honestly people need to get over their tribalism.

Kim Iversen. Absolutely gorgeous and a real voice of reason in this insane world. Everybody should check out her stuff. Obviously she has her blind spots, but overall she is one of the least tribal people I've ever seen. Does anyone know if she likes Scottish gits? Also the usual "if you have anything horrid to say about Kim Iversen you can just about blommin well say it to me first" bit LOL.  |

Cheryl gets a lot of hate from people. While she's not perfect, I like her considerably more than other people that were popular at the same time. She was immensely popular at my first high school. The girls wanted to be her and the boys wanted to, well, do other things. I still think she's gorgeous and unfairly treated. Her solo career isn't the best, but I like her a lot in Girls Aloud.  |
