I don't watch GB News though that Michelle Dewberry is a bit of all right.

I think Rob and myself should go on a double date with Michelle and that delightful Rachel Riley. He'd have a lot of fun I think.

Still being beaten by most of the McCoy era, I see lol What an allround embarassment. The Beeb must be regretting giving this clown the keys to the kingdom now. You can't be so dim as to realise why this comparison is fundamentally flawed? lol You can't be so dim to believe they actually GAF about fiddled figures? The overnights suck and the overnights are all that matters. If you think they're throwing millions of pounds away to get less than 5 million on a Saturday night in prime time you're as delusional as Davoes.

Aside from the prologue which wasn't in keeping with the rest of the episode I'd say this was bordering on a classic. Tense, spectacular, the two leads fizzing off each other with a slow burn to build the tension. All ending with Wilfrid Mott's return. 9/10 Always nice to hear contrary opinions in here. And while I don't think it was a classic, it was definitely solid throughout at the very least

It was better, but it still looks and feels like a show desperate to recapture an era that's long gone.

I even said to my mum that the show was event TV back in 2008. I remember the massive hunt for information between SE and JE to find out if Tennant was really going to regenerate. EVERYONE was talking about it. It hasn't felt like that for many years sadly.

People say Classic Who is too long and meanders, what was this episode? A useless race swapped Isaac Newton (I am convinced Russel hates white people) with a stupid joke that isn't funny. Tennich and Tate aren't enduring and them acting like RTD characters to Newton is very cringe. Then we have wandering around the ship for 13 minutes before we see the enemies. YET THE ENDING IS STILL RUSHED! We get MULTIPLE scenes were Donna cries about getting back to her family, once when the Tardis leaves and then literally 10 minutes later when she is moving those yellow honey comb computer chips. This episode also looks bad, really bad you can tell the entire time its green screened it looks like a video game and tennich and Donna look really out of place. There was no reason to make the ship this big, that main hallway could be reduced dramatically. All this money going into pointless flashy effects that don't add anything to the story. Blink and Midnight are the best episodes of RTD's era, and Midnight was cheap (Blink we don't know, but its safe to assume it was a lower cost episode). But this episode was costly to make, but it looks cheap. Darken the ship, and instead of having a useless room for the Tardis to crash in have it crash in the main hall. The inner workings of the ship are fine, but this corridor is really bad. There is no reason for the ship to be this big. The effects are a bit much with the copies it is fake slitheen level. HOW CAN AN EPISODE BE PADDED OUT AND RUSHED AT THE SAME TIME? Have the Doctor/Donna discover more details instead of figuring the entire thing out from the bridge. Despite the ship being so big the entire story takes place in a few small rooms. There was clearly not enough plot for 50 minutes so we need tennich to cry and throw a fit, and Donna to talk about her life. The entities are fine, I suppose, but there is way to much repeating of the same things we have seen before "Donna loves her family" (wow) or Donna is an idiotic woman who blabbers. Then we have mentions of Flux, which I did not watch, and its really pointless to include it here. Tennich just kinda discovers the mystery without really much input this is trying to be like Time Heist or a clever Moffat era thing but there is not enough discovery or enough clues. It needs more details for the Doctor to work with, its too bare bones. Far better than Star Beast, but not good either. They spent more money on this than all episodes of classic who (even adjusted for inflation) and probably many of the NuWho episodes.

Again in the words of John Lennon, all I have to say to RTD. "You must have learned something in all those years?" From the sounds of things this was the most basic type of DW story and it still failed.

I didn't care for the Isaac Newton bit, but the rest of the episode was a lot of fun. Loved the mystery, and the show is at its best when it allows the characters to explore the environment alone for a while, picking up bits and pieces of info. Wilf's cameo was incredible. A strong 8/10.

This shouldn't bother me, but why is there still a double standard where it is completely fine for writers to salivate over "hot" male actors in professional articles but whenever a male writer does it over a "hot" woman he's immediately called up on his objectifying behaviour and labelled sexist? There definitely is a double standard that way and you're right to be bothered by it, but there are double standards against women in terms of women sleeping around = slut, slag, whore of babylon, man sleeping around = stud, cool guy, badass. Honestly there are so many double standards and hang ups against both genders when it comes to sex, people just need to be laid back about it. As long as it's consensual and you're not hurting anyone else you can shove a pineapple up your arse if that's what you're into. and I don't give a flying f*ck (Though don't expect me to eat it afterwards. I f*cking hate pineapple.)

Again from The Windsors. (Seriously check it out. Maxil you need to see Morgana Robinson in particular.) "We don't need the Royal Family to unite us as a nation. What about the Beatles?" "There's only so many times we can hear Paul McCartney say we were just a really tight band you know." "Well about Doctor Who?" "Noooooo that's gone gay." Seriously though what is wrong with RTD? He is a supreme narcissist. He has to completely reshape the entire character and his history to reflect him because he is so utterly obsessed with this ONE aspect of his persona. He's moulding the character in his own image. He's been doing that since day one. Surprised he hasn't hired a Welsh actor for the Doctor. I'm not taking the piss out of this person. I learned my lesson when I shared those Missy/Jodie drawings. That was a supermely c*nty move of mine and I deserve for it to be brought up every time I try and act like the decent guy of fandom LOL. Still I just don't get this, wanting to remake the Doctor suit whatever identity you are? I mean yeah okay I get needing to have representation, but surely there is a fine line between being a GB type going nuts if a trans character is included, and demanding that decades of characterisation, development, even just what the character was in popular culture be completely changed to represent you or else you feel like your sexuality is being attacked?

UGH how annoying. Is all his arselicking finally paying off and he'll get the job of second hat stand he's been vying for in place of Bendy Cock? He has licked an unbelievable amount of arse mind you. Heads of the BBC haven't needed toilet paper for the past 6 years as Mr Tardis' tongue has sufficed. Sadly we then suffer when the shit rolls off his tongue.
PS does best person for the job apply to casting minority actors? Meanwhile as I have said I find it offensive in that it is making out that only white people have interesting figures from throughout history. I just finished a biography Wang Zhanyi, a Chinese astronomer who was decades ahead of her time and would have made a great figure for the Doctor to visit. I wonder why RTD didn't use her, a famous non white, non male historical figure that I found in like two seconds? Could it be because that wouldn't have led to things like this, which lets face it are all he has to get noticed nowadays?

Lol such bollocks, MrTARDIS. You'd flip your lid if Mary Seacole was played by a white woman. Yes, you are a snowflake.

Someone should really f*ck with him and do something like cast Maggie Cheung (who he won't have ever heard of btw for all his talk.) As Martin Luther King. Then we can say he just hates south east asian woman and doesn't want them to play a dignified, historical figure like MLK. PS Maggie Cheung would be f*cking hysterical in that part LOL.
