lol Exactly. I wouldn't trust any of these sites, tbh. Half the time anything modern will rate over anything older, even if its shit.

Fiddled figures are just spin for the media. The real figure was 5.08. And it's only gonna get worse. I was talking about the IMDB rating which is now lower than Jodie's last episode. lolz A 7.4 is a bit too low for an episode that's apparently the greatest thing since sliced bread. If it drops into the 6 range, it’ll have been received about as well as Jodie’s debut on there.

2016 Ghostbusters one of the worst films I've ever seen pure garbage Afterlife is like a masterpiece compared to it plus second one.

I just didn't get Afterlife either tbh. Turned it off after 45 minutes. I was like, "These people do know Ghostbusters was a comedy, right?"

Even r/DoctorWho are tearing apart Yasmin Finney's acting lol
https://www.reddit.com/r/doctorwho/comments/1854cby/acting_in_the_special/
"Theres grounded, low key performances but Yasmin Finney’s wasn’t that. Her acting was so dead and lifeless and her line delivery was awful." - got quite a few upvotes

Just a complete retread of the first film in every way except this time , Gozer asks them are you a god and Ray says YES. Isn't that so original.

Russel certainly sends mixed signals in that special, he kind of low-key bullies Yasmin with Donna's "she can't act" line towards the end.

Because he doesn't believe in any of this shit, and rather than come out and say it, he just takes cheap pot-shots from behind the scenes to try and keep himself sane. It's actually pretty gross

At least the 2016 reboot understood Ghostbusters was supposed to be funny, even if it was still utter garbage.

It's a sign of great writing in the 'post-Me Too era' (or something). Doing the same scene as in the classic, only opposite! Look how well it worked in Star Trek: Into Darkness...

RTD's usual routine of taking a massive steaming shit on whichever classic series contributor he's just ripped off immediately after one of his episodes may not have been viable in November due to the unfortunate complication of Mills, Wagner & Gibbons not having died yet, but he was still petty enough to subtly work an implication that they're racists into the script by renaming the Black Sun mentioned in both previous iterations of this story the "Psychedelic Sun".
There's no doubt in my mind that this was his motivation. If you think I'm reaching, remember that you likely would have said the same thing to anyone who claimed that the bullshit about disability was the reasoning behind his Davros decision if he hadn't said so himself. This is how petty, spiteful and ridiculous he is. The fact that they're still alive to defend themselves is the only reason we weren't subjected to five uninterrupted minutes of smug virtue-signalling about it in Unleashed. Michael Gough, Terry Nation, Robert Holmes, Peter Day, John Friedlander, Pat Mills, Dave Gibbons, John Wagner... Who shall his next target be, I wonder?
