And another one!
Captain Hand!? Long time no see good to see you back. Meanwhile I think we all know where Russell's hand is these days as he writes his scripts. There are things coming up that are brand new ways of telling stories that have never been done before, so it just feels new – I wouldn't have gone back if it wasn't feeling new," Davies teased. He went on to elaborate on why Doctor Who has a unique appeal to writers that few other shows can claim to have, as each week brings its own distinct premise and cast of characters. "I'm sitting here now, 10 pages away from a climax thinking, 'God, I've never been in this territory before – this is strange and new and hopefully I'll learn something out of it," added Davies.Sorry I couldn't resist. It's not my fault I grew up on Rik and Ade LOL.

Times change. Therefore the following scenes immediately need to be re-recorded in Old Who episodes...
Hartnell - when he says gives the 'smacked bottom' line he needs to be recorded asking for consent first
Troughton - as the actor turned out to like the ladies a bit, his sons David & Michael need to give endless interviews before all Second Doctor stories (which can't be skipped), talking about how it would be 'problematic' now
Pert - UNIT is far too lacking in diversity, despite the Brigadier being a closet bisexual (by having a moustache). Therefore Lethbridge-Stewart and Yates need to have a Brokeback Mountain-style plot written into all those stories, with Benton consoling Doris
Tom - the treatment of K9 is very poor, particularly in season 18. A conversation needs to be had, and the robot dog given his freedom in 'The Invisible Enemy'
Peter - these episodes were very dull, with no pop culture jokes every 10 seconds. These must be added as seamlessly as the CGI scenes were in the Star Wars releases. Adric's death was also not funny at all, even the silent credits seemed miserable. He needs to immediately recover and make gags about it with the TARDIS crew
Col - His first season's stories were upsetting, as they implied being injured involved suffering and being killed is actually permanent! All deaths must be retconned out, Vengeance On Varos must be wiped completely and replaced with the Baker's more recent, critical interviews about the show
Sylv - Ace was originally developed as a bit of a tomboy with hip street slang, her sexuality only hinted at later. This is not allowed anymore, from now on all scenes with that Scottish bloke twirling his umbrella are to be removed (typical white male gaze!) and the concentration on Ace's representation rather than her involvement in helping the Doctor

RTD handling it in his usual sympathetic way like when he told a life long fan to f*ck off, and when he banned me for bringing up Neil Patrick Harris' culinary habits. God damn that guys ego is huge. I believe the scene in Aliens of London where Rose says to the Doctor, "you're so gay!" in an insulting way should be edited immediately. It just isn't on anymore. That and all the fat shaming jokes throughout that story and the era. "She's a bit big" is one of the many casually offensive lines he wrote. Doesn't fly in 2023 now I'm afraid especially in this body positivity era.

Also what about the jokes the Al Bundy type jokes the Doctor keeps making about Jackie Tyler being hideously ugly, like saying she's aged 40 years, that it's the only time she's looked normal in her life LMAO. People said Hartnell was the sexist Doctor? Ten's relationship with Jackie was like Al calling Marcy a chicken all the time.

And doesn't Donna's mum slap the Doctor in one of the new trailers? Violence against men, if you ask me.
Think back to what Ben Cock said about picking and choosing. These people pick what to remove and alter and 100% of the time it's something that wasn't even created by them.

RTD, the only person that seems to have taken Rachel Zegler's publicity appearances as an inspiration.

Well this was a fun little story for CiN. Great to see Davros pre-injury and the light comedy was in keeping with the CiN context.

Yes, I guess dumbing down possibly one of the grimmest stories ever told in ClassicWho to moronic crass stupidity for attention deficit cretins to guffaw stupidly at would be entertaining for you. Hooray for Russell T Fathead.

I thought it was okay honestly. It's not like Time Crash was a comedy masterpiece either. It's dumb fun for the kiddies and a bit of advertising for the upcoming episodes. RTD's comments aside, I did enjoy the portrayal of Davros before he was disfigured. I just don't want to see him again like that unless the story truly calls for it. I can't see that being the case considering something like I, Davros simply wouldn't work as a Doctor Who episode, plus how many times can we do Genesis of the Daleks before it gets boring? And maybe RTD does have a point about not portraying a wheelchair-bound villain at a charity event meant to support, among other things, disabled children. Everything else he says however is complete crap.

If he didn't want to portray a wheelchair-bound villain then he shouldn't have set it during Genesis or included Davros and come up with something more fitting and family friendly for Children in Need. What next, is someone going to do a "funny" skit set during Schindler's List?

At the end of the day RTD can change everything he likes, but one thing is unlikely to alter. As good as some later adventures were (such as Revelation), Davros's debut was his finest hour and always will be.

What next, is someone going to do a "funny" skit set during Schindler's List? Here’s a radical idea: Why not use the special to create new disabled characters who are well-written, endearing and not prone to stereotypes (as every other f*cking character he writes is)? Doing this would have given his critics little ammunition. Creating a tonally incontinent special and using it to discredit a deceased writer’s creation (all whilst stripping it of any staying power) under the pretext of supporting disability is a shite means to support the material needs of less fortunate children. It solves precisely nothing.

I mean, what f*cking idiot thinks, "we should bring back a character who believes in racial purity and throws genetically "inferior" beings into war-torn wastelands for Children's Charity night!" Utter bollocks.

a character who believes in racial purity and throws genetically "inferior" beings into war-torn wastelands A shrewd observation. Given that Nation and Holmes wrote Davros as a eugenicist character and as a vessel to critique ethnic cleansing, focusing on Davros’ original design and regarding it as dangerous- as Davies has- completely misses the motivation behind the character’s conception. It also disregards the fact that Davros’ injuries and inexorable pain catalyse his predilection for extremism (not out of disability- out of war-torn pain and desperation caused by inoperable war-inflicted wounds, of which his appearance is a symptom rather than a cause). And, tellingly, that his chair is the blueprint for the Mark III Dalek design. Davies’ choice to remove this omits key context from Davros’ decline into Nazism and ignores this context’s contribution to the Daleks themselves, removing much-applauded depth from the character and illuminating Davies’ basic inability to grasp ideas. Whatever conversation one can have about disability tropes, making this choice openly cheapens the character, creates more “problems” than it solves, and undermines the thought-processes behind those who devised Davros in the first place.

Not surprised with his response Davies is a massive egotistical c*nt.So this is the way going forward Davros with no wheelchair and him saying it was always this way what a prick fathead.
