I think my list at the moment would be: 1. Remembrance of the Daleks 2. The Curse of Fenric The top two are set in stone. The rest change depending on what kind of story I'm interested in at the time 3. The Five Doctors 4. Earthshock 5. Silver Nemesis 6. The Caves of Androzani 7. Ghost Light 8. The Greatest Show in the Galaxy 9. Resurrection of the Daleks 10. Enlightenment Enlightenment is another one that hovers around the 10 mark or just outside. It used to be a lot higher but I've gone off it a bit.

Silver Nemesis has gone up a bit since I last watched it, but not Top 10 material. 15 to 20.

I enjoyed a lot of season 20 more on my recent rewatch than I would have thought, but to be honest I think a lot of stories that year are still a bit clunky in some ways.

Mawdryn, Enlightenment and Five Doctors are all top tier stuff for me. The rest are a bit mixed. I don't like Snakedance as much as others do.

I like a lot of Davo stories more than I like his Doctor. With Colin it's the other way round. I like Sylv a lot more than I used to do. I wouldn't even give his era the time of day 20 years ago. lol I think both Sylv and Sophie have benefited from some great BF stories, where the characters have come into their own. Much like Colin, who I always thought was saddled with some poor TV stories.

Silver Nemesis has gone up a bit since I last watched it, but not Top 10 material. 15 to 20. Yeah agreed. As I've said before you have to admire a story that manages to bring together witches, robots, Nazis, references to Shakespeare, living statues, and Jazz music (as well as a sneaky joke about Jazz critics that both lampoons and supports what they're always saying LOL) and still makes sense. It's also well paced and has some great sequences like this badass fight. Again I think it just lags behind being a classic because its few faults are quite big, like the Cybermen being doofuses and some silly moments like the American lady. (I'll be honest the thugs getting beaten up is hilarious.) I do wish the writer of the story was given another chance to write for DW as he did seem to think DW was just an excuse to be really creative, so with more experience, maybe his next story could have been a classic? It's funny because he actually wanted to write for the Daleks before, despite not being a fan of DW he knew them. They turned him down because they had just commissioned Remembrance, but it's interesting to think if he had been just a few weeks earlier he might have written the Dalek story. Daleks vs Neo Nazis might have been more iconic LOL. I suppose we sort of got that with Mr Radcliff.

The story had about twenty minutes cut from it. The best scene is when the Doctor and Ace discover a portrait of Ace in Windsor Castle. There's a great bit where he says, "it's you, but you haven't done it yet." There's also some nice dialogue about Louis Armstrong that also got cut. I'm hoping the Season 25 blu ray will make a movie version of the story with all the deleted footage put back in.

Believe it or not, that fight scene was filmed where the O2 is now.

I always thought a comedy sketch campfest fight between the Chris Robbie and David Banks Cyberleaders would be fun. 😉😆

I do get why some people dislike them as they are extremely hammy, and objectively I think the 60s Cybermen are probably the best. They play with the idea of body horror more, are more genuinely unnerving and more unique. Still the 80s guys are by far the most fun. I'm also glad that I gave Silver Nemesis another chance. Again it's not the classic Remembrance is, but it is extremely creative, enjoyable and an important development for the McCoy Doctor. Haha Yes, I just love Cybermen in general. They're my favourite enemy by miles. Even the ones in Revenge are quite cool even if the leader isn't quite as good as Banks.

Maybe not as much as the others, but it's still a solid story.

I love Attack. It's ridiculous the amount of hate it gets. I'm convinced it is just because of Ian Levine. Lytton's story arc is one of my favourites.

Caves just edges out Remembrance but is still hampered by several extremely ugly moments; the purple sky on Morgus' planet and that awful dragon creature come to mind.

What were they thinking with the magma beast in Caves? Truly one of the worst and most unnecessary monsters in the history of the show.

It's not really in it. It serves its function as the cliffhanger of Part Two and then disappears until the Doctor finds it dead towards the end of the story.
