My niece is 2 and she has reached the age where she can talk, but not clearly. If she doesn't like something she says bye, bye to it LMAO. I was confused at first. I put on an old cartoon Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers (not to be confused with the male models LOL) that I liked as a child and she just went "no bye Chip'n Dale, bye, bye" and my sister had to tell me bye, bye means she hates it. She does LOVE the Daleks however. I brought out my old Dalek toys and she was obsessed with them. She must have spent hours making them roll about. I have a big one and a small one and she even calls the big one mommy Dalek haha. Clearly the magic of DW does apply to all generations. We'll see though if the same will apply to its spin off or if it will be "Bye, bye K-9". |

Neil Patrick Harris is a real tosser. He did say sorry for the Amy cake last year, but it was just a forced apology. It reminds me of that scene in Drake & Josh where one of the characters says, "I thought you were sorry?" to the person in the wrong, only for that guy to say, "No, I'm sorry I got CAUGHT." Why is he saying sorry in 2022 and not days after posting the picture? I was also reading an instance where he made a comment on Twitter asking who a woman was on an awards show only for the woman to come forward and say that she had met Harris many, many times and his husband had worked very closely with him in the past. Apparently they had hung out just months before as well! His response: Indeed! Well said. Thanks for the reminder. How was backstage?” The woman said this in response: "The thing he said in response wasn’t really an apology."

By the way, there's a documentary about the classic series tonight on BBC FOUR. The narrator is David Tennant though I'm unsure if he'll be speaking as the actor or as the Doctor himself. Either way, I hope it's not one of those, "LOOK HOW SHIT IT USED TO BE!" shows. I remember they did one of those for the 50th.

But I don't think a documentary which is supposed to be celebrating the classic era and updating the knowledge of modern audiences on the series should take the piss and belittle it. |

Because I don't think they would have a modern one where a classic Doctor narrates and says, "Peter Kay running around in a giant nappy was one of the show's worst moments." It all has to be blindly positive when it's NuWho.
