I've never understood people who want to delete their profile on forums. Why not... just not go on anymore?

I've never understood people who want to delete their profile on forums. Why not... just not go on anymore? It's so dramatic. Exactly. I guess with some people it's a heat of the moment impulsive rage-quit, but yeah, it is a bit flouncy drama student type histrionics. |

Wotan deleted his account without saying goodbye! Shame really as I liked what he contributed to the forum. My favourite posts back then were when people used to advise on his behalf he was *thinking* of leaving the forum. Then when no-one took a bit of notice someone eventually announced he HAD left, only for Ian to say "I thought he had?" or words to that effect. Made me chuckle! |

Probably the most spectacular leaving from the old Hive was when Glitz stormed out after falling out with the admin about the England football team! I suspect he was drunk. A classic thread, it's a shame Ludders pulled it all down (I think).
Then again Talking Cabbage left pretty dramatically after his angry side emerged and had that spat with Seal. He was pretty scary but I was on his side on that one...

I quite liked Glitz myself. We were both positive about England's chances at Euro 2016. It didn't go to plan obviously. I would love for him to return at some point.
