Most Boards have a tiresome "Welcome Thread" pinned to the top, but not this one! Oh no...
In true Encyclopedia Dramatica stylee, we've decided to pin an "I'm Leaving/Quitting the Forum" thread instead, so posters can say when they've REALLY had an utter gut-full of all the shite here, or things have got so mind numbingly tedious and dull that they decide to declare an intention to Leave and stamp their feet to see if it livens things up a bit or if anyone manages to persuade them to stay.
Please don't forget to state your reasons why you're completely hacked off with this place and which posters you think are utter c*nts and whether or not you intend creating Hara Kiri with your account.

I mistakenly thought your thread about pedagogues was in reference to Cutrone whilst I was attempting to push home an earlier point about Cutrones reprehensible public views and statements. Endorsement of paedophile organizations like NAMBLA is not justifiable on any level nor acceptable within any positioning of the political spectrum. We're all aware what pushed Mike over the edge. This guy's like a guru to him. I personally do not hold Mike responsible for Cutrone's position or contemptible views. This is reprehensible stuff however. Completely Unjustifiable. Exploitation is not emancipation. Cutrone can f*ck right off, the nonce. He's even had recommendations from NAMBLA. I'll be making enquiries about this creep via my own academia links and colleagues, because in my view this kind of repugnant shit falls under the remit of PREVENT safeguarding.  |

Okay I've kept silent about this, but here I feel I must interject. Bullshit. Whenever you, Seal or Lady or Mike or any of the other Hive incrowd feel I'm being a crushing bore, posting offensive things about feminists, being tedious or being a saddo about Ingrid Oliver, you're quick to point it out, jump in and dogpile on me. Now when it's Mike doing something ridiculous you have to treat him with kid gloves? I must confess I have always disliked the incrowd mentality among some people in the Hive like Lady, Mike etc. I get that some people will be closer to others on the Hive. For instance though I like Rob, me and Maxil are clearly closer to one another than either are to Rob. Similarly the Bowie Doctor I know better than say Iank. However it gets hypocritical when some people are called out for their flaws and others aren't because they are in the clique. I understand that sometimes it can be hard to approach a friend, but you need too at times. For instance in the Sadako vs Rob situation I still know both (and post regularly on boths forums despite their intense hatred for one another LOL,) Still when the feud was getting really out of hand I told both sides to back off and I'd do the same if Sadako were to come here and it descended into just vicious insults against one another. I told Sadako when he went to war with the New Hive in 2017 after some of the members slagged him off to not bother as it wouldn't lead anywhere. Then after it calmed down on Sadako's side and he became a mod, but Rob kept going after him in various threads, I told him he should just drop the feud with Sadako as it was old drama. (I also did the same thing on Archive when I saw all the threads devoted to attacking Sadako.) Then however when Sadako attacked Archive I took him to task when I thought he went too far against Maxil and he agreed and dropped the feud, which has been better for him and his forum ever since. Yet apparently when Mike is a member of a creepy cult that makes the Family from The Omega Man look rational and open minded, NONE of the clique of Lady, Seal and yourself are willing to say a thing to him. It kind of makes me laugh in hindsight when Lady was going on about me being a sexist, letting the Hive down, being a c*nt, driving her away with my terrible posts etc. Apparently when Mike edits people's posts (including mine) changes the titles of threads, shuts down the hive and is part of a cult that is basically this. that's okay? Now again I don't know Mike really. From what I've been told he'd just been taken in, and seems to regret it now. I'm not going to kick a guy when he is down which is why I haven't commented on this here until now. Given our past differences it might look like I was gloating. Still at the same time I think it's fair for other members to criticise Mike for shutting down other people like Rob. Hell the above clip was basically Rob's argument with Mike last week LOL. If I had done something like this, or associated with a group like Platypus, then I'd bet anything that you would be the first to tell me. Hell posting about Ingrid Oliver was enough for people to stage an intervention and tell me I was a saddo. This is the last I am going to post on this, as this is all I feel needs to be said and I'm sure most of you know I am right. |
