Sorry I just realised that this post might make Maxil look like a pervert, saying he's jealous of these actors doing inappropriate things. Sorry about that Maxil, I was just making a joke about how much you like Nicola and Jenna, not saying you'd do what those actors did. LOL don't worry about it. I wouldn't do any of those things (which will surprise a few I'm sure). I'm more jealous of Colin for having the privilege of working with Nicola for two years on the show. I couldn't think of a better (or prettier) colleague.

I couldn't think of a better (or prettier) colleague. Wouldn't surprise anyone that you'd never do that. PS Nicola Bryant is a really nice person. I remember her tearing into some c*nts who were gloating over Amy Winehouse's death and sticking up for Peter Capaldi when the Beeb tried to make out that he was responsible for his era's down turn in viewers (and tried to do a Colin Baker to him basically.) Again though not that Matt and Colin were predators. That's the point, actors joke around in ridiculous ways on set, because of how much closer they get, and because of the ridiculous nature of their work, which again is why it's unfair to say Barrowman is a predator. If he is, so is Sarah Michelle Gellar, Will Mellor, Colin Baker and Patrick Troughton. You can still think Barrowman is a total arsehead and a dreadful actor obviously LOL, and I will say for the record I would absolutely never allow practical jokes in any workplace. I hate them, I think that they are a minor form of bullying that you have to go along with or you are seen as a killjoy. Still again Barrowman is just one of hundreds of examples.

Yeah I'm afraid the Barrowman thing really shows up the idiocy of it all. It's not like it was some dark secret that only came to light years after the event. Everyone was laughing about it in the late 2000s in their own music vids, on BBC Radio and in DWM! Then suddenly 10 years later we're all supposed to forget all that and act like shocked Victorian puritans. What a load of utter bollocks. The guy is just a lewd, foul, disgusting braggart and serial abuser who the BBC actively encouraged and enabled. He's not funny, nor has he ever been, and those who think his lewd abusive behaviour is just give him the oxygen to carry on doing it. I think his behaviour was lewd, immature and crass and not particularly funny but I'm not aware anyone claims to have been abused. I think we need to be fair in our use of language. It's clear what a big name he is in Who history by the impact he has on this forum and hopefully he has reflected on his behaviour.

Now, that's just abuse of the English language.

Now now, Rob. It's very "high-spirited" on set and he was clearly just joining in the fun.
Anyway, we know that Russell T. Davies would never associate with slimy, parasitic individuals who go around exposing their tentacles and grabbing females without consent.
Again not to go against the curve, but I still John Barrowman was unfairly treated. A film set is not the same as an office. Actors do all kinds of things as jokes on set to each other, especially when filming sex scenes. Sarah Michelle Gellar used to pull on the cod piece that James Marsters wore on their sex scenes, and pulled it off many times in front of the cast to humiliate him as a joke. David Boreanaz and Roger Moore dropped their pants to make actors corpse, Colin Baker bit Nicola Bryant on the arse in a take. Patrick Troughton and Frazer Hines both picked Deborah Watling up and threw her into a big pile of foam. To me John Barrowman doing similar things when filming sex scenes on a show like Torchwood is not the same as Noel Clarke actively bullying people, or possibly threatening their careers. James Marsters said the same thing in an interview with Michael Rosenbaum and the guy who played Ianto said the same thing. Now again to be clear I would never allow things to happen on set, but I hate practical jokes anyway. To me they are a mild form of bullying, but still it's not fair to single Barrowman out and IMO for Big Finish to kick him to the curb and basically help blacklist him shows how shitty they are. I suppose though if RTD goes the way of Joss Whedon now there will be Barrowman and Eccelston ready to stick the knife in. Great tweet! Poor John He only got his cock out in the work place. Nowt wrong with that. In tribute to the man himself, we should go to our local supermarket and drop our pants down so that everyone can see our throbbing dicks up close. I'm sure it will be a great laugh for everyone involved.

You've discovered the path of northern righteousness at last. (Remember, flat caps must be worn at t'table at all times and gravy with every meal.) Anyways, chuck. Forget supermarkets, it's people's back gardens and birthday parties with a large enough cake you ought to start with.

Are we forgetting how Marlon Brando and the entire cast of The Godfather regularly mooned one another, even in scenes with a massive amount of extras?

Are we forgetting how Marlon Brando and the entire cast of The Godfather regularly mooned one another, even in scenes with a massive amount of extras? Yes apparently we are, because of the dislike of Barrowman. If John is considered a predator, then so are Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson, who mooned each other on the set of Bottom in front of the crew many times, Sarah Michelle Gellar who tugged on James Marsters codpiece until it came off in front of the crew, Will Mellor who did EXACTLY the same thing to Kathryn Drysdale that John Barrowman did and whose career is still flourishing, Roger Moore, who dropped his pants to make his co-stars corpse, Patrick Troughton and Frazer Hines who pulled down Wendy Padbury's skirt etc. Like I said acting isn't the same as other workplaces. These are people who do get to know each other very well, who often have to get very physical with each other and therefore become comfortable with one another and do these kinds of things as jokes to one another. Not saying that I like that. If I ran a set I'd stop it right away, but it is NOT the same as what Uncle Deadly was making out, IE just going up to a stranger and showing them your dick.

Quintessentially British to put forward an appeal to authority argument lol So you're prepared to take a contrary position to Rape Crisis UK, are you?
Tell you what, all you lot who reckon Barrowman's thoroughly normal and an all around "good egg", nip outside right now, find the nearest available female and flash your cock at her. You should feel comfortable doing this. If she objects, you can dismiss it as an "Appeal to Authority".

Every single actor is now an enemy of the Republic. Execute Order 66. Only if every single actor is now a serial flasher.
I don't believe it's on the job description.
