Sorry, I just think she's really hot. Wish she'd been in more watchable episodes.

Mandip seems lovely tbh, and she was at least obviously enthusiastic about the role, unlike a certain other cast member...

Not a companion (but should be), Annabel Scholey from Flux. Mmmmm.

Woke up yesterday craving Rose for some reason. I had one of Billie Piper's CDs when I was a kid because my family knew I had a massive crush on her in the series.

F*ck Missy and the Timeless Child, we all know the biggest crime of all was not having Jo Joyner be the companion in Series 2. Damn you, Russell! Aww I loved Lynda.

Jo Joyner is so cute. She was supposed to say, "how's Ian?" but says, "how's Adam?" instead in a live EastEnders episode. You can see by the look on her face that she knows she's completely messed up. I sometimes wish I had watched the series when she was on it. What a babe.

I can't remember who said it, but I'm glad they did as it showed EXACTLY why the fandom is a joke these days. It's sadly an upper middle class LGBT only club these days. Sad but true. I'm not saying that's something only LGBT people do. Everyone can be cliquey. Moffat arguably turned it behind the scenes into a Scottish club, but yeah that's what the show is these days and you do have to ask how did it happen? I mean this is a show that isn't even remotely sexual? It's designed to be for everyone by being escapism?

Doctor Who IS for everyone regardless of their background, gender, sexuality. It was always promoted as such. Nowadays it feels like you have to be this, that and the other. Ncuti has made it even worse with his alienating comments.

Josh Snares has his problems sure, but he's not as bad as that. It's just insane how cliquey DW LGBT fans are? Shows that are actually LGBT led which DW NEVER even came close to in the classic era and even most of the new who era are not like that. I mean look at Xena's fandom. I could understand it's fandom becoming a big LGBT thing, but honestly they NEVER act that way. There's never a only lesbians can enjoy or understand Xena, or even it's more special to us than to you guys, which hey it kind of was as it was a big groundbreaking thing for them. Ditto Buffy, which again actually went out of its way to have gay people in it and make LGBT struggles central themes. Their fandoms are open, friendly and not even remotely cliquey or only LGBT fans are the special fans. Yet again a show about an asexual alien that fights monsters is the one that only LGBT understand? Honestly must just be RTD's toxic, cliquey influence. I mean this is a man who comes out with shit like gay people are smarter, more creative and in touch with their emotions. It's not surprising that's the attitude that takes over, even more so when classic era fans and actors roll over and take it.

I just assumed from the way that you wrote it here that it was him that said that: hive-redux.proboards.com/post/18602/threadTo be fair, you also said that he once went on a rant saying he wouldn't be happy until all conservatives jumped in a hole and died so I'm guessing he is as bad as that.

Yaz is probably the one I'd lean towards. I had this discussion the other day, but I genuinely have a preference for women of any colour. I was asked if I liked black women in that way and I responded with a resounding yes. It's the same with mixed race women and other demographics.
