Millie Gibson is the new companion. She'll be playing a character called Ruby Sunday. She was born less than twelve months before Rose aired! God damn that is creepy. Imagine thinking that when Rose was being filmed, she would have been a baby in a crib! I remember this actress in Corrie. She was okay as an actress, but to be honest I don't really care much. I'm kind of glad it wasn't Susan Wokoma or Morgana Robinson or someone that I actually might have turned in for as I really don't want to watch RTD era 2. |

I'd argue that given she is that young she will need to be a sci fi companion to keep it interesting. If she's just another London girl and retread of what we've seen before IE a companion that's designed to appeal to normal people, then I'm guessing RTD is going for the really, really, really young audience? She's WAAAAAAAY too young to be made the babe for guy fans like Freema Agyeman or Amy Pond or Jenna Coleman, and she's also too young for the Claudia Boleyn types, the established RTD era fans to relate too. (NOT that I am saying that Claudia is old LOL, but there is quite a big difference between early 20s and late 20s, early 30s. More so than say mid 20s and early 30s, or 30s-early 40s, or early 40s-early 50s.) RTD must be hoping to really type into the zeitgeist for young people which I think could be a mistake as he is a 60 plus year old man now. Even with a young actress it could end up looking like this. |

I don't tend to like girls younger than me. I much prefer 25-40 year olds. Occasionally I prefer the odd MILF and maybe even the odd GILF |

I don't tend to like girls younger than me. I much prefer 25-40 year olds. Occasionally I prefer the odd MILF and maybe even the odd GILF Yeah same here. I always liked older babes when I was younger. Lisa Edelstein and Katey Sagal were two my biggest pin ups when I was Millie's age and they were both in their 40s, (Katey was in her 50s at the time.) Women get better with age just like a fine wine.   I'm actually upset at the thought that when I get to my 40s, I won't be the young cub to older cougars like Katey Sagal anymore. They'll just be contemporary's LOL. I mean again not that contemporary women are bad obvs, but I like being a cub to a cougar. Nothing sexier. |

To be honest even now at 30 I'm too old to be a cub to a 40 year old cougar. I'd need to go for a 50 year old cougar. Alison King is 50 and I hear she is single soooooo.

Martha's objectively the hottest NuWho companion. In terms of men, none of the male companions are hot really, so I guess the closest to it would be that guy from Smith and Jones who assists the Judoon and the lute-player who gets devoured by witches in the Shakespeare Code.
