I officially quit doctor who was tired of it all the negativity just ruined my enjoyment of it I sold about 75 percent of my stuff I still have all my Stargate star trek and Batman collections

Sorry to hear, but surely flogging all your stuff off is a bit of a overreaction. For what it's worth, I nearly did the same back around 2014/15 and again in 2020 after the Timeless Child horseshit but eventually decided ''f*ck it. There's still 26 years of real Doctor Who as well as spinoffs from the time to enjoy and NuWho and the wankers behind it aren't gonna change my mind.''
Still, it's your decision and if you feel it's what is right for you, then that's fine.

Yep I still enjoy Stargate Batman. Narnia and some of the star trek stuff alot and I needed a fresh start a new chapter away from Doctor Who

I like some Williams era stuff and a few Davisons, but mostly I'm just a McCoy man. I probably won't expand my collection anymore although personally I'm not going to get rid of any of my Doctor Who stuff either. I did once and regretted it. I spent a fortune getting a lot of it back. Still, it's your choice and I completely understand it.

I think we have all been going through this sort of thing the last few years. Things are so shitty and the fandom so toxic that it really makes you just want to say f*ck it I'm done.
To the reality is that while the new show has gone down the shitter, the classic is always there, as it was, and no amount of modern bull shite is ever going to change that.
I have not given up on Doctor Who, what I gave up on was ever bothering to have to justify what I liked to anyone else. It's why I hand out here rather then some big forum were they all blow smoke up eachother arses. We're all arseholes, but we are far more tolerable and accepting arseholes then many who would look down their noses at us, saying were every kind of scum under the sun.
f*ck em. We aren't racists, women haters or malevolent dick heads, were just a bunch of fans who say the shows gone to the shitter. That is our only true crime, and it's a complete none-crime and we won't be treated like c*nts over a f*cking TV show. So f*ck the f*cking lot of em.

I mean, when you think about it, all that media you consume will outlast all of us anyway, nobody owns anything forever, it's left behind on the Earth when we go, so holding onto it long-term does seem a bit pointless, especially if you've outgrown it or found it impossible to enjoy because people have found a way to make a living off slagging it off or slagging the fandom off
You're better off finding your own little blanket and wrapping yourself tightly in it. If that's enjoying Stargate, great (I'd avoid Atlantis and Universe), I prefer watching Babylon 5 and any cartoon or show JMS has ever written (and that includes all his woke stuff)

It's funny I felt like this for a few years due to negatives experiences in the fandom and the Jodie era. Incredible how doing those streams and watching the later Troughto=early Tom's just completely reminded me of what an excellent show DW is and how silly it would ever be to let the Fitzroy Crowd truly taint it.
Still if you needed a break from it that's fine, but honestly the original is always waiting to be rediscovered.
