I love both of these movies, but they take the term "recycling" to the absolute extreme lol

Hmmm if we exclude remakes, for obvious reasons, there are not many I can think of.
I could say Friday the 13th parts 2 & 3, as they are the two of the lot that are the most similar.
Som would try and throw all slasher films in here, but that’s really treating them unfairly. Most of those films do enough to try and separate themselves from one other.

Kindergarten Cop 2. A lot of these straight-to-video ones are more remakes with lesser actors than sequels.

You could argue the Home Alone sequels. Even MK admitted the fact that Lost in New York is essentially the same movie as the first just in a different location. Even some of the lines are the same:
HA: "Kids are scared of the dark"
HA2: "Kids are scared of the park"
