You all know who the Fitzroy crowd are. Trevorrow meanwhile is the main creative force behind the Jurassic World series. Now I LOVE the Jurassic World series, but I do understand that they have deviated a bit from the original trilogy in that they have become more like Godzilla films IE monster romps and a lot of fans of the original might not like that, but they are still at least fun and watchable, and haven't pissed on the original.
Now after just 9 years and three films, all of which were successes at the box office, Trevorrow had this to say.
"It’s been nine years of my life. And I feel like the audience would probably agree that they’ve seen what I have to say about this. I think there would be a lot of interest in what another filmmaker had to say about it. I would just want to be there to share my own mistakes and the lessons that I’ve learned and provide the same kind of mentorship that I was provided and the same kind of guidance."
Funnily enough Trevorrow wasn't all about smashing up the original trilogy and wanted to show respect to it, hence why he brought back the original T-Rex and gave her a starring role, why he brought back the original three characters.
Meanwhile the Fitzroy Crowd who are all about change to the point where they have completely and utterly destroyed the entire character of the Doctor, the Master, the Cybermen and the lore of the show, and the last time their version of DW was a mainstream success was in 2013, 10 f*cking years ago. they are still holding onto this franchise they've had since the 90s, and next year we'll be getting a show produced by RTD, written by Moffat, and starring David Tennant.
Funny that isn't it?

Television has gone back to being episodic. Their cliquey little heads would explode if you suggested it though. They still think their competing with The X Factor in 2005.
