The worst I've owned is probably the Rocky series. I like the films obviously, but none of the films look that good on the format and to be honest I wish I had just stuck with the DVD set instead. Another bad one is Superman Returns. Again, not a bad film but it looks pretty awful on both DVD and Blu ray. There's this weird brown filter on both and it makes it look crap. Funnily enough, the older Superman movies look incredible on Blu ray especially the fourth one. Lastly, Predator is one of the worst I've ever come across. Another great movie, but the version I own is so waxy. The Disney plus HD version looks ten times better. I actually prefer the grainy look of that version rather than the sterile and clean version of the 2010 Blu ray I bought a few days ago.
As for best, I think OHMSS looks unbelievable on the format as do the Lester Superman films (must have something to do with the cinematography and bright colours). The Neverending Story looks amazing too as does its first sequel.
