Can’t see many voting for Mutants or Time Monster. lol 😆 For me, this is definitely Perts weakest season, mainly because of those two, but also, Curse is a bit average, and Sea Devils, whilst still not bad, is definitely the poor relation of The Silurians. Even with Delgado, and the great chemistry between him and Jon, this story still feels padded. Definitely the runner up for me, but really the only choice here is Day.

Yeah, pretty much agree with all of that. I'd have actually put Day behind the Sea Devils prior to the remaster of Day of The Daleks because their slow drone boring voices annoyed me so much before! With the remaster it's more like a Season 8 story now. Season 9 is undoubtedly the weakest Pertwee. Can't understand why not more have voted for my main man Cottons story though? Surely one of the best supporting Doctor Who characters with the most variable accent ever? "Nooo mon, Stubbsie mon. Come on mon. Awwwwww no Stubbsie mon! Well, dat's greet innit?"

I agree, Day's the only one really worth a vote.

Always had a soft spot for The Sea Devils. Trenchard is almost the worst person imaginable to keep The Master prisoner, but there's a nobility about him and his sacrifice to protect him.
And Malcolm Clarke's score is so unexpected every time you hear it! One of the show's bizarre, inexplicable experiments that somehow worked.
