I've said this would happen for months that Sadako would eventually respond to the slagging here and then people would respond to him, and then it would escalate and drag both forums down, and much like the female Doctor being a disaster I was right. We need to let this go now and stop trying to recreate 15 year old drama for a laugh.
A lot of people are getting really upset by it and worse a lot of the people involved have got depression and self esteem issues and are being made public figures of mockery on both forums. They're not celebs, they're regular people struggling yet having to deal with the pitfalls of fame. Who knows how far it could push them?
I'm not trying to brush Sadako's more extreme rants at people under the rug. I did know him for a while, but he cut contact with me, so I have no dog in the fight. As I have said to Sadako in private and public his problem online is that he tends to go too far when he thinks he has been bullied.
He has been bullied badly on some forums for his views on DW which is awful, but sadly as a result of this, he has IMO developed a defence mechanism where to avoid being targeted, he thinks he has to show people he is not weak and goes after his bully with both barrels.
He always ends up going too far however even if he was being bullied or mocked first. Like Bryan Braddock. He made a few posts insulting Sadako, but Sadako followed him around on every post he made for weeks insulting him in every way and it escalated to the point where they both wanted to fight each other! Worse he has now got to the point where I think he tends to see enemies all around, like Rushy, all of which just ends up having the reverse effect and makes more people dogpile on him and then it becomes a vicious cycle. It's a shame because when not doing that most people get on with him. The likes of Rushy, Clockwork, Zarius, even Bryan Braddock were all once happy to talk to him and even enjoyed some of his posts, but now hate him.
Still that said, this forum has been genuinely baiting and humiliating him for months on end. Even people who weren't involved in the original drama have joined/been sucked in and started making posts about Sadako being ugly, a nonce, a freak. Really I was just hoping it would all blow over, but it kept getting out of hand. I should have spoken up sooner. It was such a thorny issue for people though that I didn't want to butt in, but now I think it needs to stop.

Stop devoting entire threads to him.
Stop setting up fake accounts on Auton Factory to bait him.
Stop setting up parody accounts of him here. I think they are a terrible thing to do to someone online who isn't famous.
Stop fishing for his dirty laundry online, IE videos he's made in the past etc.
Just leave the drama with him where it belongs in 2007.
If we do that then hopefully he'll back down and both forums can be what they should be, just a laid back place to talk about DW.
